Rojanavongse Knocks One Out

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante
Ott Rojanavongse
Ott Rojanavongse

Ott Rojanavongse and two opponents saw a flop of {3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}. The player in the cutoff bet 2,000 and was called by Rojanavongse on the button and a player in middle position.

The {3-Hearts} fell on the turn and action checked to Rojanavongse. He bet 6,000 and the player in middle position moved all in for around 15,000. The cutoff quickly folded.

Rojanavongse took his time and asked for a count before calling. His opponent showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a pair of kings, but Rojanavongse turned over {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for kings and a higher kicker.

The {4-Clubs} fell on the river and Rojanavongse claimed an early knockout.

"He had been playing so tight," a tablemate said about the departed player.

"That's the only thing that slowed me down," Rojanavongse responded.

Zakheim Takes From Aldridge

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Ken Aldridge raised to 500 on the button and was called by the small blind and Scott Zakheim in the big.

It was checked to Aldridge on the {4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop and he downbet to 200. Both of his opponents called.

All three players checked on the {j-Spades} turn, Zakheim fired 800 to on the {k-Clubs} river. Aldridge responded by raising to 2,000 and action folded back to Zakheim, who called.

Aldridge tabled {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a rivered straight, but it was no good against the {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} of Zakheim, who scooped the pot with his flush.
