Seiver Gets Vieira to Fold

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Scott Seiver

Scott Seiver in the big blind got to the river on a board reading {3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} against Joao Vieira in early position with around 50,000 in the middle.

Seiver led out with a bet of 37,000 and Vieira weighed his options with a camera crew circled around the table.

"The problem with calling is it might look bad for the camera," Seiver told his opponent. "If you fold, you always look good."

Vieira folded and Seiver flipped over the {7-Clubs}. "That's just a good card to show," laughed Seiver.

Guilbert Just Checks

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a raised pot, the flop read {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} when Johan "YohViral" Guilbert bet 4,000 on the button. It was called by his opponent in the big blind.

The turn came the {a-Spades} and this time the big blind bet 4,000. Guilbert raised it to 16,000 and is opponent made the call after some thoughts.

On the {6-Diamonds} river, the small blind checked and Guilbert tanked for a long time, before announcing "I win but I'll just check". Guilbert then showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} to claim the pot as his opponent mucked his cards, showing an {8-}.

Wien Forces a Fold from Simao

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The button opened to 10,000 and Jeremy Wien three-bet to 31,000 on the small blind. Joao Simao decided to four-bet to 73,000 in the big blind and it folded to Wien who called to create a huge pot.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Wien shoved, putting Simao at risk for a remaining stack around 120,000. The latter tanked for a few minutes and eventually tossed his cards into the muck.

Wien, who won the 2018 Big Blind Antes $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em, had a stack approaching 400,000 after the hand.
