Nível 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Pok Kim
Pok Kim

Pok Kim open-jammed from under the gun for 95,000 and action folded around to Itzhak Ashkenazi who called from the big blind.

Pok Kim: {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Itzhak Ashkenazi: {9-Spades}{6-Spades}

Kim had Ashkenazi dominated but didn't like the {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop that gave the latter a gutshot straight draw.

Unfortunately for Kim, the sweat didn't last long as the {8-Diamonds} turn completed Ashkenazi's straight and the {q-Clubs} river ended her tournament.

In a hand retold to PokerNews by Frank Lin, according to him he three-bet to 335,000 preflop over the 120,000 raise by William Blais.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Lin bet 305,000, Blais raised all in for about 1,400,000 and Lin called.

The flop read {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Tommaso Briotti bet 320,000. Ivan Uzunov moved all in, having Briotti slightly covered as both players had healthy stacks.

Briotti went into the tank and took over a minute before he called.

Tommaso Briotti: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Ivan Uzunov: {4-Spades}{3-Spades}

Briotti was ahead but would need to fade the open ender. The turn was the {3-Clubs} to pair Uzunov and give him a few more outs. The river was the {7-Diamonds} and just like that Uzunov slayed Briotti as the counts were confirmed by the dealer.

Briotti stood up, shaking his head as if he could not believe what just happened looking dazed and like he had just received a physical blow to the head. He slowly wandered over to payouts as his tournament was suddenly over after having a big stack not long ago. Meanwhile Uzunov surged to the chip lead.
