Levi Leaves Collopy Short

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Shahar Levi
Shahar Levi

On a river board reading {6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, Jim Collopy check-raised a 15,000 chip bet from Shahar Levi to 80,000, which would put Levi all-in. Levi instantly called.

Shahar Levi: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Jim Collopy: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Levi showed Collopy the nuts with his ace-high flush to double through the recent $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. bracelet winner.

Chidwick Gets the Double Up

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick moved the rest of his stack into the middle on a {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, and Nader Younes called.

Stephen Chidwick: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Nader Younes: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Younes showed two pair to Chidwick's pocket kings when the money went in. The {9-Spades} turn and {9-Clubs} river gave Chidwick a better two pair for the full double up.

Sandrock Notches Up Another Elimination

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Heads-up to the {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} turn, Amir Mirrasouli bet 30,000 and Chris Sandrock then raised the pot to 140,000. Mirrasouli tanked for 90 seconds and called, leaving himself just 21,000 behind. The {2-Diamonds} fell on the river and Mirrasouli checked. Sandrock grabbed into his massive tower of chips and bet 45,000.

Now it was up to Mirrasouli again as he tanked, then sigh-called. Sandrock rolled over the {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a straight and Mirrasouli flung his cards into the muck with force as they couldn't be retrieved with certainty before storming out of the tournament area.

On his former table, pretty much everyone just smiled as the Sandrock show added another chapter on Day 2.

Yanovski Doubles Through Lamb

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}, the near-identical stacks of Ben Lamb in the small blind and Leonid Yanovski out of the big blind went into the middle with Yanovski as the player at risk.

Leonid Yanovski: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Ben Lamb: {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {7-Hearts} turn changed nothing yet but the {4-Spades} river improved Yanovski to the ace-high flush. Both stacks were counted and Yanovski doubled for 214,000 to leave Lamb on the ropes.
