Welcome to Day 2 of Event #40: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship. Today, the 71 remaining players plus any new entrants (as late registration is open until the start of the day), will be returning to the Amazon Room at The Rio Hotel and Casino where they will play seven 90-minute levels. There will be a 10-minute break after each level, with a 60-minute dinner break after level 14 (~8:30 p.m. local time (PST)).
This championship event is packed with many notables each looking to make a run at the coveted WSOP gold championship bracelet, along with the first place cash that comes along with it. Top pros Scott Seiver (261,000), Randy Ohel (219,500), David Benyamine (219,000), and Nate Silver (197,000) are all currently in the top ten in chips and positioned to make a deep run in this event.

The action was picked up on seventh street with Ivens having fired out a bet against Monnette, which sent the latter briefly into the tank. He eventually found the fold button and Ivens was pushed the pot.

and was quickly called by Max Pescatori.
The cards were turned face-up and it was Friedman's ace-high 
against the pocket
