Andrulis Wins Massive Family Pot

Nível 28 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

The biggest pot of the tournament was just played with huge swings in three of the remaining players stacks.

Pre-draw, Stephen Deutsch raised in the cutoff and got calls from Kristijonas Andrulis on the button and Peter Lynn in the small blind.

In the big blind, David "Bakes" Baker asked, "one more bet to me", then followed up with "one more bet to y'all", as he put in a three-bet.

Everyone called, and the four players were off to the draws with a sizeable pot already built.

Lynn drew two, Baker drew one, Deutsch drew three, and Andrulis drew two.

Lynn checked as first to act, then Baker continued with another bet, Deutsch called, and Andrulis raised.

Lynn folded while the others called, leaving the hand now three-ways.

Baker drew one again, Deutsch drew two and Andrulis stood pat.

Andrulis' opponents checked to him on the button and he put out another bet, with both then calling.

Baker continued to draw one, Deutsch also drew one, and Andrulis remained pat.

Baker and Deutsch both checked again to Andrulis, who checked back. Baker immediately pitched his cards into the muck, while Andrulis turned over {9-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-} which held up as the winner to award him the massive pot.

Lynn Loses a Big Chunk

Nível 27 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

After spending most of the first two levels comfortably over two million chips, Peter Lynn has slipped down the standings after a couple of recent dropped pots.

First, in a hand versus Kristijonas Andrulis, multiple bets had gone into the middle before Lynn check-called a final bet on the end to see Andrulis show a winning {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

Shortly after, Lynn defended his big blind versus a raise from Stephen Deutsch on the button.

Both players drew two, and Lynn check-called a bet from Deutsch before drawing two again, while Deutsch drew one.

Again, Lynn check-called a bet, then drew one versus a now pat hand for Deutsch.

Lynn checked the end, then folded to a final bet as his stack has dipped to near 1,500,000.

Mark Fraser Eliminated in 6th Place ($13,423)

Nível 27 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Mark Fraser

After his recent loss, Mark Fraser's untimely slide continued and he's been eliminated from the tournament in 6th place.

In a hand versus David "Bakes" Baker, Fraser raised in the cutoff and got called by Baker on the button.

Each player drew two, then Fraser led out with a bet that Baker raised. Fraser called.

Both players stood pat, and this time Fraser check-called a bet from Baker before patting again. Baker also stayed pat.

Fraser then check-called a bet from Baker who showed {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, which just edged Fraser's {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.

Shortly after that hand with just over 200,000 left in his stack, Fraser raised in early position and was three-bet by Stephen Deutsch behind him. Fraser opted to commit the majority of his remaining chips with a four-bet which Deutsch called.

Both players drew one, then Fraser bet out again and was raised all-in by Deutsch. Fraser called to put his tournament life at risk.

They each drew one card twice, and on the end Fraser paired threes with {7-}{5-}{3-}{3-}{2-}, while Deutsch squeezed out a {9-} to go with his {5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.
