Chung Stays Alive

Nível 19 : 15,000/25,000, 0 ante

The action folded to Christopher Chung on the button who raised it up. Terrence three-bet from the big blind and the door was open for Chung to move all in for 90,000. Chan called and the cards were tabled.

Christopher Chung: {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Terrence Chan: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The flop of {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} made things interesting for both players. Chan picked up some counterfeit outs on the {7-Spades} turn but bricked out on the {3-Diamonds} river. Chung double up and stayed alive, leaving eight players still remaining.

Chan Crosses 1-Million Mark

Nível 19 : 15,000/25,000, 0 ante

Christopher Chung raised from late position and Eric Kurtzman called from the hijack, and so did John Racener from the small blind. They all checked through the {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} on the flop to the {a-Hearts} on the turn. They all checked again to see the {q-Clubs} complete the board. Racener bet and was called by both Chung and Kurtzman. He showed the {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for top pair and the pot.

A few hands later, Terrence Chan raised from the hijack and Scott Tuttle called from the button and so did Nate Silver in the big blind.

The flop came {5-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, it was checked to Chan who bet which only Tuttle called.

The turn was the {5-Hearts}, Chan continued with a bet and Tuttle raised to see a call.

Ray Dehkharghani Eliminated in 10th Place ($18,506)

Nível 19 : 15,000/25,000, 0 ante
Ray Dehkharghani
Ray Dehkharghani

Ray Dehkharghani raised all-in for his last 45,000 in middle position and was called by Eric Kurtzman in the small blind.

Ray Dehkharhani: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Eric Kurtzman: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The flop of {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades} gave Kurtzman the lead with a pair of kings. The {7-Hearts} on the turn nor the {3-Hearts} on the river would improve Dehkhargahani who became the first casualty at the final table.
