Takashi "IKAIKA" Ogura Bubbles Final Table

Takashi "IKAIKA" Ogura had barely two bets behind when he got his money in before the flop with {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} after a raise to 120,000 from Alex "Pl3ase_MuCk" Fortin-Demers on the button and a call from the small blind Vince Cavailles. Ogura shoved for 128,850 and both players called.

They both checked the {q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop, and Fortin-Demers called a bet of 120,000 on the {a-Clubs} turn. He called again on the {6-Spades} river, but mucked his ace-ten when Cavailles showed ace-queen.

Day 1 of Event #3 Ends with Nine Players Left
Day 1 of Event #3 Ends with Nine Players Left

There were two possible end conditions for Day of Event #3: $2,500 Limit Hold'em Championship - either they would play 32 levels and bag up with as many players as were left alive, or they'd stop when nine players remained.

In the end, they played through the 180 entries to get down to the final table in the third event of the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online. Those 180 entries ended up putting $427,500 into the middle, and Nicolo Molinelli is leading the way with the best chance of winning the biggest share of that.

Molinelli bagged the biggest stack at the of the day with 1,850,925 chips, while second place Joao Vieira has just over 1.55 million. The smallest bag at the end of Day 1 belonged to Canadian Mark Radoja, who only managed to bag 170,000.

Action on Day 2 kicks off at 1 p.m. eastern on Wednesday August 4th, and while Day 1 ended during Level 25, action on Day 2 will be rolled back to Level 21 to start, in order to reset the blinds to match the average final table stack.
