The 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events series continues today with Event #26: $888 CRAZY EIGHTS No Limit Hold'em 8-Handed. Day 1 is set to get underway at 9 a.m. EST and will play until either nine players remain or the end of level 32. Play will then resume Monday and will play down to a winner, where one fortunate player will take down the first-place prize and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.

Players will begin with 25,000 chips and play eight-handed with blind levels increasing every 15 minutes, starting at 50/100 with an ante of 12. Players will have the option to re-enter up to two times until the late registration period closes, about four hours after the start of the event. This tournament does not have a guarantee but has an early prize pool of over $175,000 with over 200 already registered and ready to go.

Some of the notables registered early in the field include poker pro Chris Moorman, three-time Ladies European Poker Champion Jessica Teusl, and German Manig Loeser, who won his first WSOP bracelet earlier this year and will be looking to snag another.

Stay tuned here at PokerNews for all the Day 1 action coming up.

In the first hand, Sriharsha "Upswinger" Doddapaneni raised to 300 from early position and received a call only from "kangstar1022" to his left. The {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop saw Doddapaneni check-call a bet of 559.

The {5-Diamonds} turn had Doddapaneni check-raise a 1,000 bet up to 3,750 and get a call. The {7-Spades} river saw "kangstar1022" call a lead of 6,332 and his {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} pocket pair wasn't as good as the {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} pocket pair of Doddapaneni.

Jacks are Good for Puetz

Nível 2 : 75/150, 18 ante

A raise to 450 from middle position by Kosei Ichinose saw a three-bet to 1,500 from Chris Puetz in the cutoff. It folded back around to Ichinose who put in a four-bet to 4,177 and was called.

The {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop saw Puetz check-call a bet of 2,879. Both players checked the {6-Diamonds} turn, and Puetz called for all his 14,702 chips after Ichinose put him all in on the {3-Clubs} river. Puetz showed {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} which was good for the pot against the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} of Ichinose.
