Only 31 players remain out of 2,350 entrants after 32 levels of play in Event #26: $888 CRAZY EIGHTS No Limit Hold'em 8-Handed. The biggest stack was bagged by Eugenio "Ausetep_255" Pernia from Venezuela, with Romanian Alexandru Papazian and Bulgarian Bahar Musa not far behind, all with over 4 million chips.

While all of the remaining 31 players already have $6,345 locked up, the majority of the $1,982,640 prize pool will be given out at the final table tomorrow, including the $241,128 first-place prize which comes with the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.

Among the notables to make Day 2 was Ian Matakis, who won a WSOP Circuit Ring on GGPoker earlier this year, Patrick Mahoney, Swede Simon Lofberg, and poker streamer Denys Chufarin.

Sandford Eliminates Two in Cooler and Takes Chip Lead

Nível 24 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Caio "Ez4ENCE" De Almeida opened to 20,000 from middle position and "jackma66" went all in for 191,465. George "Kacicka" Sandford then went all in from the cutoff and action folded back to Almeida who made the call for his remaining 514,145 chips.

George "Kacicka" Sandford: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
"jackma66": {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Caio "Ez4ENCE" De Almeida: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

All four queens were accounted for and the flop of {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} was enough to end the hand. The meaningless {9-Hearts} turn and {6-Clubs} river peeled off and Sandford was the new chip leader.

Aces Versus Kings Versus Queens

Nível 12 : 700/1,400, 175 ante

Jon Ander Vallinas Santos opened in early position to 2,800 and Snir "kazanova2020" Bechor raised in the cutoff to 6,300. Stefan Schillhabel then went all in, enough to cover the other players. Santos called for his last 15,197 and Bechor called for his last 21,300.

Snir "kazanova2020" Bechor: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Jon Ander Vallinas Santos: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Stefan Schillhabel: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

A huge cooler but Bechor still needed to hold. The {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop looked optimistic for him. As did the {5-Clubs} turn, and the {5-Spades} river ensured the rockets took down the pot.

Savenkov Busts Two with Rivered Ace

Nível 10 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Aleksey "ImLuckPads" Savenkov opened to 2,000 in middle position and was called by "dezhoudegou" in the cutoff. "NowWeAreFree" raised to 8,533 and Savenkov went all in, covering both other players. "dezhoudegou" called for his last 18,520, "NowWeAreFree" called for his last 20,977, and hands were revealed in this three-way pot.

Aleksey "ImLuckPads" Savenkov: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
"dezhoudegou": {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
"NowWeAreFree": {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The cowboys stayed ahead on the {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop, and was one card away from a triple up on the {5-Hearts} turn, but the river {a-Spades} gave the pot to Savenkov.

Gomes Hits River in Classic Race

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Mikhail "Picnick" Pikin raised to 1,000 in early position and Danilo "Olag" Gomes three-bet to 2,800 in middle position. Action folded back to Pikin who four-bet to 7,800. Gomes then put all his chips in and Pikin called for his remaining 17,395 chips.

Danilo "Olag" Gomes: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Mikhail "Picnick" Pikin: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

It was a classic race and Pikin stayed ahead on the {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop as well as the {8-Hearts} turn. With one card to fade to stay alive, the river {a-Clubs} would wasn't what he wanted to see and Gomes took down the pot.

Glasspool Doubles Up with Turned Set

Nível 5 : 150/300, 35 ante

Kristian "ADelaney1991" Froysadal raised in middle position to 750 and Shaylen "khushkush15" Anita raised in the cutoff to 2,070. Robert "robdag83" Glasspool called on the button and Froysadal folded.

The two players saw a flop of {5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Glasspool called a bet of 2,790 from Anita. On the {9-Hearts} turn, Anita led for just about enough chips to put Glasspool all in. The chips went in and hands were revealed.

Robert "robdag83" Glasspool: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Shaylen "khushkush15" Anita: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Glasspool was in good shape having turned a set, but still needed to fade a club, and he did just that on the {7-Hearts} river, taking down the pot.
