Streda Jams Twice

Nível 37 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

No further flop was in sight for the last couple of hands and Marco Streda bumped his stack to more than 20 big blinds once again.

The Swiss first got through via open shove and then jammed out of the big blind following a button raise by Damian Salas for 525,000. Salas asked for a count and the shove was deemed to be for 4.3 million total.

Salas carefully counted his available stack, eyeballed the other remaining contenders and let go.

Brunno Botteon came along out of the big blind when Damian Salas raised and checked the {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Salas made it 400,000 to go and Botteon folded after very brief consideration.

Half a million of Salas' profit vanished when he forfeited the big blind, as Ramon Miquel Munoz once again got through with an open-shove from the button.

Miquel Munoz Pushes Twice

Nível 37 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Ramon Miquel Munoz moved all-in from the button and chip leader Brunno Botteon in the small blind asked for a count. The shove was for 2.15 million and Botton reluctantly folded, as did Damian Salas in the big blind.

One hand later, Miquel Munoz pushed again, and this time that went through without any resistance.

Botteon claimed the blinds and big blind ante without showdown the very next hand when he made it 500,000 to go.

In the first hand back from the break, Manuel Ruivo had the dead button and raised it up to 525,000. Marco Streda gave it some thought and opted to fold.

One hand later, Damian Salas raised to 500,000 and Ramon Miquel Munoz also surrendered out of the big blind.

The first time Alex O'Brien played poker was in London. Armed with some videos and a couple of poker books, she jumped into a Friday night $55 tournament. She admits, she didn't even know how much she had to put in for blinds and antes each hand.

Fast forward to December 2020, and she's just won GGPoker's $100k GTD Dan Bilzerian Birthday Freeroll. The perfect way to celebrate handing in a manuscript for a book she's writing.

In addition to the $10,000 first prize, O'Brien also won $3,000 to play against Bilzerian himself. No date has been set for this heads-up match, although it is rumored to be in the New Year.
