Records are made to be broken, and it only took about a week for the record of biggest online no-limit hold'em pot to get smashed.

On Aug. 13, a pot of nearly $850,000 went down on GGPoker, breaking a 12-year-old record from the Full Tilt Poker glory days when Tom Dwan and Di Dang clashed for $723K with the former's kings losing to the latter's aces.

Last night, two more modest hands managed to produce an even bigger bounty of $974,631.

Kozlenko Doubles in First Hand

Nível 1 : 100/200, 25 ante
Lecompte busts in first hand
Lecompte busts in first hand

In exchange for $1,500, Craig "Tonkaiktomni" Lecompte got to play just a single hand before running out of chips "Andrii "BabyShark19" Kozlenko was the beneficiary of Lecompte's chips for an early lead.

In a three-bet pot where Kozlenko had reraised on the button, the {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop appeared. Kozlenko bet 1,073 and Lecompte check-called.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and Lecompte checked. Kozlenko bet 2,698, Lecompte check-raised to 6,396 and Kozlenko called.

On the {j-Clubs} river, Lecompte time-bank shoved all in for 16,131 and, since it was the first hand, Kozlenko called for the exact same amount. Lecompte showed {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for top two pair, Kozlenko rolled over {8-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flush and Lecompte was dusted like that.

The reentry period is open for four hours total and two reentries are permitted, which means Lecompte still has another shot if he desires.

In an hour from now, the first of three Sunday bracelet events on GGPoker kicks off with Event #69: $1,500 Marathon No Limit Hold'em. Later today, the Event #71: BIG 50 (6:30p UTC) that already has over 38,000 (!) entrants, as well as the highly-anticipated Event #70: $25,000 NLH POKER PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP (6p UTC), will have cards in the air as well.

With levels of 20 minutes each, this event lives up to its name: a long day can be expected for those that signed up for this event in Asian peak hours.

The tournament is the penultimate one on the series of tournaments that rank for the Asia Time Zone Events leaderboard. The leaderboard is currently led by Luis "Xapilskinha" Assuncao Garla, who took down Event #55: HK$8,000 No Limit Hold'em Asia Championship two weeks ago.

Anson "Tara@0z" Tsang, fresh off his second bracelet win in Event #68: $500 Deepstack No Limit Hold'em, has moved up to third place. The winner of the leaderboard will take home an unique Pure Gold Dragon trophy. Check out here for all the latest standings regarding the different WSOP leaderboards.

Among those registered early are the likes of Pete Chen, Sergey Rybachenko, Andrew Neeme, Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker, Erwann Pecheux, and Steven van Zadelhoff.

Action kicks off at noon UTC and players will receive 25,000 in chips (125bb) to kick off the event. Late registration is open for four hours and players are allowed to reenter up to two times if they run out of chips. PokerNews will be on the digital floor once more to cover every bracelet event start to finish.
