Negreanu Chops With Broadway

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu raised to 1,500 from under the gun, and was called by a player in the big blind.

The big blind check-called a bet of 1,000 from Negreanu on the {3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop, then check-called 2,500 on the {k-Clubs} turn. The big blind checked a third time on the {q-Spades} river, and Negreanu bet 3,000. The big blind check-raised to 10,000, and Negreanu called, flipping over {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a turned nut flush draw that rivered Broadway. His opponent held {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for turned top pair, top kicker that also made Broadway, and the duo split the pot.

Patanjo One Better Than Garcia

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Cord Garcia (from a previous event)
Cord Garcia (from a previous event)

The flop was out and it read {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Cord Garcia had bet 3,000 and Gary Patanjo went all in for 22,500 total. Garcia deliberated, then made the call.

Gary Patanjo: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Cord Garcia: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Though both players had an overpair, when Garcia saw Patanjo had one better he told him "you're the best". The {3-Hearts} turn and {a-Hearts} river didn't change anything and Garcia takes a hit but is still in very good shape.

Vitch Picks Off Opponent

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

With the board reading {5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and roughly 12,500 in the middle, Chris Vitch checked from the big blind to his opponent in the hijack who bet 7,000.

Vitch called, and then checked the {3-Clubs} on the river. The hijack bet 10,600, and after some deliberation, Vitch called.

"You got it man," stated the hijack before he flung his cards to the muck.

The dealer pushed the pot to Vitch without showdown.

Heads Up, Sevens Up

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

With around 5,000 in the pot on a flop of {2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, both the player in the big blind and Andrey Zaichenko in early position checked to the final player in the hand who was in the cutoff. That player bet 1,800 and the big blind folded. Zaichenko then called.

The turn came {9-Hearts} and both Zaichenko and the cutoff checked. Both players then checked the river {q-Spades} as well.

Zaichenko showed {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} and his opponent mucked as he took down the pot with sevens up.

Buonanno Pushes Out Vitch

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

With around 22,000 in the pot on a board of {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, Antonio Buonanno bet 10,000 from the small blind into Chris Vitch, who was in the cutoff. Vitch thought for around a minute before the call.

The turn came {10-Clubs} and Buonanno announced he was all in, effectively putting Vitch to the test for his last 52,000 or so. Vitch quickly folded and Buonanno took down the pot, putting Vitch below the starting stack.
