The first level of play in the 2019 World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event is in the book. The Day 1a field has been sent on a 20-minute break. Things were relatively quiet in the first two hours with just two bust outs that we learned of, as Marc Serota and Jerry Atkins have both hit the rail.
That said, there were still some interesting hands and storylines:

Play hasn't reached the first break yet but that hasn't stopped the action from heating up over on Table 412. Bruno Gmur kicked things off with an open to 700 from under the gun and Jean Said called on the button, with Chao Duan paying to see a flop from the big blind.
The dealer laid out and Guan checked to Gmur, who continued for 1,700. Both players called and there was still three involved as they headed to the turn. It was the and Duan bet 2,900, which got Gmur out of the way but not Said, who called.
