Lakota Eliminated by Kalisek

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Clayton Kalisek
Clayton Kalisek

With all the cards out and all the chips in the middle, Joe Tehan was kind enough to fill PokerNews in on the action that lead to an early exit for Jan Lakota.

It folded to Michael Shanahan on the button, who limped. Clayton Kalisek raised to 1,300 in the small blind, which Lakota called in the big blind and Shanahan came along too.

It checked to Shanahan on the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and he bet 2,200. Kalisek flatted before Lakota upped it to 7,300. Shanahan stepped aside and the dealer put a {4-Spades} on the turn. Kalisek check-called again, this time for 14,000.

With a big pot already in the middle, Kalisek checked the {k-Clubs} river and Lakota moved all in for 45,000. It was a quick call from Kalisek and they turned over their holdings.

Clayton Kalisek: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Jan Lakota: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Lakota showed a full house with deuces full of tens but it wasn't enough to beat Kalisek's quad tens and Lakota joins the rail early.

Urli Wins On River

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

A player in middle position had two yellow, T$1,000 chips in front of him and action was back on him facing a reraise to 4,800 from Alexis Urli in the small blind. The player called and the flop came {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

Urli made a continuation-bet of 3,600 and after a full minute of thought, his opponent asked to confirm the size of the bet. After the dealer said the amount, he quickly called.

The turn was {a-Hearts} and both players checked. The river brought {10-Hearts} and Urli put out a bet of 11,100. After long decisions on every street, his opponent broke the trend and quickly tossed his hand to the muck.

Harder's Flush Gets Paid

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

A player raised to 800 from early position, and only William Harder called in the cutoff.

The early position player bet 1,500 on a {5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, and Harder called.

The {9-Hearts} fell on the turn, and the early position player bet 2,200. Harder called again.

Harder's opponent checked the {3-Diamonds} river, and Harder bet 3,500. Harder's opponent quickly called, only to muck after Harder tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a flush.

Many big names have chipped up during the first level of the day, with Kevin Gerhart up to more than double what he started with after scooping a big pot with a full house over a smaller full house. Dennis Brand and Jimmy Kebe have run into some trouble though, both dropping down in the counts.

March Chipping Up

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

A player opened with a raise to 900 from early position and received calls from Anthony March in the hijack and the player in the big blind.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and the big blind checked. The player in early position made a continuation-bet of 2,200 and March called. The player in the big blind folded.

Action went heads up to the turn {5-Clubs} and the early position player checked. March bet 4,000 and it was good to take down the pot as he received a fold from his opponent after about 30 seconds of thought. March finds himself with over one-and-a-half starting stacks early in Level 2.
