"How Do I Run Into That Shit?!"

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action folded to Jeremy Wien in the cutoff and he raised to 5,600. Haixia Zhang was in the small blind and three-bet to 19,100. Wien asked for a count and then thought about it for a moment before four-betting to 41,100.

Zhang took her time and eventually asked for a confirmation of the raise. She then slowly pulled in her initial three-bet and put in a five-bet to 100,000. Wien took a brief moment before deciding to six-bet shove all in for around 144,000. Zhang called.

Zhang: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Wien: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Wien saw what he was up against and said, "Oh wow. How do I run into that shit?!"

The dealer ran the board out {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Wien was eliminated. "You did a really good acting job preflop," said Wien. "I was just really nervous," replied Zhang.

Lichtenberger Eliminates Ma

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Tony Ma was all in for last 16,500 from the small blind and Andrew Lichtenberger looked him up with a dominating hand.

Ma held {7-Spades}{6-Clubs} and needed help against {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, but while the {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop offered a sweat, the {5-Hearts} turn and {k-Spades} river bricked his outs.

Seiver Gets a Quick Double

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action folded to Scott Seiver in the small blind and he decided to limp in. The player in the big blind thought for a moment before moving all in. Seiver snap-called for just under 65,000 and quickly tabled {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

The big blind tabled {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, and Seiver found himself flipping for his tournament life. Luckily for him the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and he held for an early double.

Small One for Vitch

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Chris Vitch raised to 5,000 from an early position and Martin Finger called from the big blind.

Finger checked the {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and Vitch bet 4,000. Finger called.

Both checked the {2-Diamonds} turn and Finger led out 7,000 on the {6-Clubs} river. Vitch quickly called and Finger turned up {7-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a pair of fours. Vitch tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and raked in the pot.

Collopy Doubles Through Kakon

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action folded to Jim Collopy on the button and he asked to see the stacks of Giussepe Pantaleo in the small blind and William Kakon in the big blind. After a moment of thought he raised to 6,500.

Pantaleo folded and Kakon shoved all in. Collopy couldn't get his 40,000 in chips in the middle fast enough, tabling {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Kakon tabled {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

The dealer fanned a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Collopy was still ahead with ace-high while Kakon picked up a straight draw. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and the river was the {10-Hearts} to send the pot to Collopy.
