Brandon "DrOctagon" Adams Wins His First WSOP Gold Bracelet in Event #74: $3,200 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold'em High Roller

Nível 33 : 40,000/80,000, 8,000 ante

It took a little over twelve hours of grinding online to play down to a winner in Event #74: $3,200 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold’em High Roller. At the end of the day, it was Brandon "DrOctagon" Adams winning the bracelet.

Adams bested a field of 434 entries and with the victory, he won a massive first-place prize of $411,560.70 and of course a prestigious ONLINE WSOP gold bracelet.

When they reached the final 27 players, Brandon "DrOctagon" Adams was fifth in chips with 839,202 and blinds only at 8,000/16,000 with a 1,600 ante. Adams played solid throughout the night, maintaining his chips and winning the flips when it counted.

The final table was action-packed, and eliminations were happening rapidly, with Harsukhpaul "MjMafia" Sangha being eliminated first in eight place for $34,071.40 when he got all of his chips in the middle preflop in a coinflip situation but his two overcards couldn't connect. Lior "morningowl" Orel was eliminated almost at the exact same time in seventh place for $45,428.

It wasn't even fifteen minutes later that two-time bracelet winner Norbert "balkan500" Szecsi was eliminated in sixth place for $61,653. He was all in pre flop with a pair of nines against two overcards, and the flop had him in a world of trouble when the soon to be champion George "DrOctagon" Adams flopped trips.

Michael "vinnyV" Vanier and two-time bracelet winner Calvin "projector52" Anderson were next to fall. Both fell victim to Adams when they got in a three-way all-in preflop and Adams had pocket aces. Vanier (ace-ten) and Anderson (queens) both couldn't crack Adams' aces, eliminating Vanier in fifth place for $85,448. Anderson, who was the chipleader for some time, was so short after the hand that he busted almost right after in fourth place for $120,421.69.

Vladimir "stuey_haxton" Alexandrov was next to be sent to the digital payout desk when he got all-in preflop with the wrong end of a pair over pair situation and couldn't catch up. Alexandrov was eliminated in third place for $173,241.39.

Nabil Mohamed Abdien "TheBrownBear" Cardoso fell just short of winning his first WSOP Bracelet and $411,560.97. After a thirty minute battle heads up with Adams, he found himself dominated when they got all the chips in the middle before the flop. Cardoso's pocket tens couldn't beat Adams pocket queens, taking home second-place prize of $253,642.

This tournament was a relentless storm of action in the later stages and there is more of that to come, with two more online events on the schedule as well as a full slate of live events at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.
