Dia 3 Começado
Welcome to Day 3 coverage of Event #67: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship.
The starting field of 151 players is down to just 16, each looking to capture a coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet, as well as the first-place prize of $385,763.
On top of the chip counts entering Day 3 is four-time bracelet winner Eli Elezra with 1,362,000, who won that fourth bracelet earlier this summer in a $1,500 Seven Card Stud event. He is followed on the leaderboard by fellow four-time bracelet winner Mike Matusow with 1,005,000. Matusow's last bracelet victory was in 2013 and it was in this variant, a $5,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better event.
Right behind them in the counts is bracelet-winner Andrey Zhigalov with 968,000, who is looking for some redemption after just missing out on a second bracelet. He finished runner-up in the $10,000 Razz championship just three days ago. Next up is two-time bracelet winner Anthony Zinno, who just recently won that second bracelet four days ago.
Suffice it to say, whoever wins this event is going to have to earn it.
