Welcome to Day 3 of Event #6: $2,500 Limit Mixed Triple Draw

Thirteen are left and at the end of Day 3, one will remain, raising up the first mixed-game bracelet of the 2019 World Series of Poker. It's time for someone to take down Event #6: $2,500 Limit Mixed Triple Draw for $160,447.

Jake Schwartz leads the pack, bringing 789,000 into the final day, but while he has a fairly sizable lead over second-place Sumir Mathur, there's plenty of other strong competition left. He'll have to contend with the likes of former PPC champ Mike Gorodinsky, Mark Gregorich, Jon Turner and Dan Zack. among others.

The action kicks off at 2 p.m. local time here at the Rio, taking place on the secondary feature tables in Amazon Room. Limits will open at 10,000/20,000 and go up from there, with a winner likely to emerge sometime in the evening after roughly eight levels of play.

Bryce Yockey got to the end from the small blind and bet, with Sumir Mathur his lone opponent in the big blind. Mathur announced a raise and Yockey sighed and put his head in his hands. Moments later, he folded, but some of his cards were exposed, showing at least the .

2-7 Triple Draw

Jon Turner raised in the cutoff and Mike Gorodinsky called. Yockey raised his remaining chips to 29,000 and Turner reraised. Gorodinsky called. We didn't catch the first draw, but Gorodinsky check-called again then asked for one. Yockey needed three and Turner was pat. Gorodinsky then check-called again and patted. Yockey took one and Turner remained pat.

Gorodinsky check-called a final bet but he couldn't beat , flashing what looked like an eight-seven. Yockey's cards were mucked before we noted them.

After grinding his way up in a few badugi pots, Andrew Brown lost a big pot to Brayden Gazlay wherein Gazlay beat him patting a ten on the last pull and Brown didn't get there and checked back.

Moments later, Brown raised and Gazlay reraised on his left in the cutoff. The others folded and Brown stuck his 22,000 in and pulled three, two and one. Gazlay needed one and one but then was pat and tabled a wheel. Brown simply threw his cards away drawing dead.

Mike Gorodinsky lost an A-5 triple draw pot in which he was drawing two against Jon Turner's one and check-calling down, with details of the final draw unknown. On the end, Gorodinsky check-folded in disgust and left himself with crumbs.

Then, Gorodinsky raised and Brayden Gazlay called in the small blind. Turner came along in the big. Gazlay took two, Turner three and Gorodinsky two.
