Hands #16-20: Heath and Kornuth Chop It Up from the Blinds

Nível 17 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Hand #16: Ben Heath limped in from the small blind and Chance Kornuth checked his option. The flop came {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and both players checked to the {9-Spades} on the turn. Heath led out for 180,000 and Kornuth called to see the {2-Hearts} on the river. Heath checked this time and Kornuth was the one to bet 180,000. Heath called and both players turned over {q-}{9-} to split the pot.

Hand #17: Dmitry Yurasov opened to 130,000 in early position and Sam Soverel defended from the big blind. The flop fell {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Soverel check-folded to a bet of 175,000 from Yurasov.

Hand #18: Yurasov raised to 130,000 from under the gun and Nick Petrangelo three-bet to 470,000 in the hijack. Both Heath and Kornuth gave it some thought but elected to fold as did Yurasov when the action was back on him.

Hand #19: Elio Fox limped in from the small blind and Yurasov raised to 200,000 from the big blind. Fox called and the flop of {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} hit the felt. Fox checked and Yurasov continued for 230,000. Fox still called and the {7-Spades} paired the board on the turn. Both players checked and the {6-Diamonds} completed the board. Two more checks and Fox tabled {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the best hand.

Hand #20: Fox made it 135,000 on the button and both of the blinds folded.

Nível 17 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Hand #11: Action folded to Dmitry Yurasov in the small blind and he raised to 180,000. Big blind Cary Katz called. Both checked the flop of {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} before Yurasov took it down with a bet of 350,000 on the {4-Spades} turn.

Hand #12: From middle position, Chance Kornuth opened for 135,000. Yurasov three-bet to 450,000 from the button and both blinds and Kornuth folded.

Hand #13: Kornuth opened for 135,000 from middle position and Yurasov in the cutoff called. Kornuth then check-folded to Yurasov's 150,000 bet on {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Hand #14: Yurasov opened for 150,000 from the hijack and Nick Petrangelo in the big blind called. Petrangelo checked on {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and saw his opponent bet 130,000. Nível 17 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Hand #6: Dmitry Yurasov opened to 150,000 in middle position and Ben Heath defended from the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Heath check-folded to a bet of 130,000 from Yurasov.

Hand #7: Cary Katz tossed in a raise to 125,000 in middle position and Chance Kornuth called from the big blind. The flop fell {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Kornuth checked. Katz slid forward a bet of 175,000 and Kornuth quickly mucked.

Hands #1-5: Einhorn Open Shoves

Nível 17 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Hand #1: Andrew Lichtenberger opened under the gun plus one for 130,000 and Dmitry Yurasov in the big blind was the only caller. Yurasov check-folded to Lichtenberger's 250,000 continuation bet on {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Hand #2: David Einhorn shoved all in for about 1.1 million under the gun plus one. The action folded to Elio Fox on the button but big blind Cary Katz, engaged in a conversation with Chance Kornuth and Nick Petrangelo about bracelets, money, and what would be more important, folded out of turn. No harm was done eventually, as button Fox and small blind Yurasov both folded regardless.

Hand #3: Nick Petrangelo opened for 135,000 under the gun plus one and saw everyone fold.

Hand #4: Another hand for Petrangelo who opened to 125,000 under the gun and everyone passed.

Hand #5: Ben Heath was first to act and made it 135,000 to go. Action folded to big blind Nick Petrangelo and he called. Petrangelo check-called 120,000 on {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs} before the {6-Clubs} on the turn was checked through. Petrangelo bet 380,000 on the {9-Spades} river and Heath folded. Three in a row for Petrangelo.

Manig Loeser Eliminated in 10th Place ($122,551)

Nível 17 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Manig Loeser
Manig Loeser

Chance Kornuth was first to act and raised to 130,000 in the new level of 30,000/60,000.

The action folded to small blind Manig Loeser who had just joined his new table. He thought about it for a bit and right before he was out of time, he shoved for 455,000 total. Big blind Yurasov folded, Kornuth called right away.

Chance Kornuth: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Manig Loeser: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

It was a fair situation to start, this time decided in Kornuth's favor as the board ran out {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} {7-Spades} {k-Diamonds}. While Loeser picked up some counterfeit outs on the turn, the river brought no solace and Loeser was left nothing more to do than get up and head to the payout.

"Good game man," said one fan on the rail.

"Thanks man," Loeser responded while calmly getting up.

Down to nine players now, merged to a single table. All players are still guaranteed $122,551.

Sam Grafton Eliminated in 11th Place ($101,604)

Sam Grafton

Dmitry Yurasov opened the cutoff for 125,000 before Chance Kornuth folded his button. Small blind Sam Grafton announced all-in and big blind Nick Petrangelo asked for a count. Once it was clear it was 1,215,000 total, he called. Yurasov folded right away.

Sam Grafton: {q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Nick Petrangelo: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

It was an uphill battle for Grafton and he wouldn't be able to come from behind. After a flop of {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, the {q-Spades} on the turn gave him a glimmer of hope. The {2-Spades} on the river, though, brought nothing of value to the talkative Brit and he exited in 11th place for $101,604.

Down to ten players now, all guaranteed $122,551 from here on out.

Manig Loeser: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
