Kenney and Imsirovic Each Show One

Nível 12 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action folded to Bryn Kenney on the button who raised it up to 45,000. Ali Imsirovic three-bet to 150,000 in the small blind which forced Kornuth out from the big blind. Kenney called and the two players saw a flop of {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Imsirovic led out for 80,000 and Kenney jammed all in for 450,000. Imsirovic asked for a count but decided to lay his hand down. They both agreed to show one card and Imsirovic flipped over the {a-Diamonds} while Kenney showed the {10-Clubs}.

Cary Katz limped in the hijack and Ben Heath raised to 70,000 in the cutoff. Daniel Negreanu then re-raised to 190,000 from the button.

Katz folded and Heath then moved all in. Negreanu had a little over 700,000 behind and eventually called.

Ben Heath: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Daniel Negreanu: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Heath was dominatingly ahead and had both suits covered. There was no help for Kid Poker who was eliminated on the {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} runout.

Wasserson Goes Runner-Runner to Double

Nível 13 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Elias Talvitie opened to 60,000 from under the gun and Eric Wasserson three-bet all in for 276,000 from the big blind. Talvitie called.

Elias Talvitie: {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Eric Wasserson: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Wasserson would need to win a flip, and the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} opened the door to some counterfeit outs, with any seven giving him a better two pair. The turn was the {q-Spades} giving him a gutshot, and the river {k-Clubs} completed his gutshot and Wasserson doubled up.

Lichtenberger Raises Katz's River Bet

Nível 13 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Cary Katz led out for 70,000 from the big blind into a pot of over 100,000. Andrew Lichtenberger called on the button and the {2-Hearts} landed on the river.

Katz tossed in a small bet of 25,000 and Lichtenberger used a time extension before raising to 225,000, leaving himself with just over 100,000 behind. Katz quickly let out a big sigh and dipped into the tank himself. After two time extensions, Katz finally released his cards to the muck and Lichtenberger collected the pot.

Lichtenberger Doubles Through Grafton

Nível 13 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

After a couple of preflop raises, Andrew Lichtenberger and Sam Grafton got all of their chips in the middle with Lichtenberger being at risk for 377,000. Once the cards were tabled, things were not looking good for Lichtenberger who held {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} against the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} of Grafton.

However, the {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop put Lichtenberger in the driver's seat with a pair of aces. Grafton was left drawing to the single remaining king in the deck and the {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} runout would not do it for him.
