We are almost at the halfway point in the 2019 World Series of Poker and it is time for a beloved tournament to start in Event #41: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship.
The defending champion of this event is Yaniv Birman who shipped it last year for $236,238 and his first WSOP bracelet. The business owner from Los Angeles, California overcame a star-studded final table that included James Obst, Matt Grapenthien, Jesse Martin, and 2018 WSOP Player of the Year runner-up Ben Yu.
For this event, players will begin with 60,000 chips and limits of 500/1,000. The plan for Monday is to play ten, 60-minute levels with a 15-minute break after every two levels. There will be no dinner break on the first day of play.
Registration will be open until the start of Day 2 which begins at 2 p.m. on June 18. The event is scheduled to play four days and should reach completion on June 20, where players will play down to a winner.
