Heads up from the off, James Maguire showed {x-}{x-}/{8-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Chris Ferguson {x-}{x-}/{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Maguire bet, Ferguson called. An {a-Hearts} for Ferguson, a {4-Diamonds} for Maguire. Furguson led out, Maguire raised, and Ferguson called. Ferguson picked up the {4-Spades}, Maguire the {8-Spades} for a pair of eights showing, the latter betting, the former making the call.

It has been less than two days since Yuval Bronshtein picked up his first WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 2-7 Lowball Draw, and he's back at the tables hunting another one.

Heads up vs. Ryan Caskey on fifth street it was Bronshtein who bet. He was raised by Caskey and made the call. Sixth street brought both players a jack and Bronshtein check-called.

After the final card was dealt, Bronshtein checked, Caskey bet and Bronshtein pondered for a while. Finally, he flipped his face-up cards face-down, and the pot went to Caskey.

Daniel Mogavero survived one crazy hand for the last of his chips, but his survival didn't last long.

Mogavero was drawing thin on sixth street against Po's rolled-up sixes, but the {10-Hearts} came in to give Mogavero the broadway straight and give him faint hope with a 3,000-chip stack.

A couple of hands later, however, Mogavero's day came to an end, as Igor Sharaskin's {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} full house was enough to knock out Mogavero with {k-}{k-}.

Aron Dermer just played a 30,000 chip pot out against Joel Tushnet that saw both of them all in by the end (Tushnet covering Dermer by less than one full bet. Starting with Tushnet raising on the first betting round showing {k-Hearts} vs. Dermer's {10-Hearts}, these cards turned out to be crucial to the eventual house-over-house that won Tushnet the pot.
