Quads for Sokoloff

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Chris Tryba
Chris Tryba

Paul Sokoloff: {x-}{x-}/{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}/{x-}
Chad Campbell: {x-}{x-}/{6-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}/{x-}
Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-}/{8-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}/{x-}
Chris Tryba: {x-}{x-}/{7-Spades}{J-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}/{x-}

We picked up the action on seventh street, but there was already a massive pot in the middle of the table. Paul Sokoloff was first to act and he put out a bet. Chad Campbell called before Eli Elezra made it two bets. Chris Tryba called and then Sokoloff made it three bets. Campbell, Elezra, and Tryba all called.

"He has to have four tens," Tryba said immediately after action was closed.

Sokoloff did, in fact, show {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for four tens. His quads were good for the high end of the pot as Campbell and Elezra both mucked. Tryba showed his {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} though and with his seven low, he took down the low side of the pot.

"My first five was a flush," Tryba said. "He has to have quads to be raising into these boards. But I didn't know if he was raising with a flush or a better seven or what."

"I had quads on the first four," Sokoloff mentioned.

Matusow Joins the Party...and the Side Bet Action

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Allen Kessler has been running a 'Last Longer' side bet for $1,000 per player who wishes to get in some extra action. Most players have put up the money to give themselves a little extra sweat.

Mike Matusow just recently walked in the room and Kessler was on top of things as per usual.

"Mike, are you in?" Kessler shouted across the room.

"Ya, give me a second," Matusow responded. "If I have a thousand dollars on me."

"He's not in," Ryan Miller instantly chimed in as the room chuckled.

Lee on a Rush

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Mack Lee was the bring-in. Eli Elezra called as well as Chris Tryba.

Mack Lee: {x-}{x-}/{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}/{x-}
Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-}/{9-Spades}{K-Hearts}{4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}/{x-}
Chris Tryba: {x-}{x-}/{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}/{x-}

On fourth street, action checked to Lee who put out a bet. Both Elezra and Tryba called. On fifth street, Elezra checked. Tryba bet this time and Lee and Elezra called.

On sixth street, Elezra led out and Tryba and Lee both called. On seventh, Elezra checked. Tryba checked. Lee bet and Elezra called. Tryba though for a bit then folded.

Lee showed {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for an ace-high flush as well as the wheel for a low.

"One of them is good, one of them is better," Elezra said mucking his hand. Lee raked in the good sized pot and moved to over 90,000 chips.

"Kessler Hits an Ace and They Run for the Bushes"

Nível 3 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Allen Kessler was showing {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and led into his two opponents, Esther Taylor with {3-}{2-}{k-} and Jeff Lisandro with {7-}{5-}{4-}. Both Taylor and Lisandro folded and the entire grumbled.

"You can't let him win like that," Taylor said.

"Kessler hits an ace and they all run for the bushes," Tony Cousineau piped up from the table.

In the next hand, Kessler found his way into another three-way pot.

David Benyamine: {x-}{x-} / {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades} / {x-}
Kyle Miaso: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs} / {x-}
Allen Kessler: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} / {x-}

The action checked to David Benyamine on fourth who threw in a bet and was called by Kyle Miaso and Kessler. Miaso led out on fifth and both players called.

Benyamine took the betting lead on sixth and made a bet to which both Miaso and Kessler called. On seventh, Benyamine bet again and Miaso raised this time. Kessler called as did Benyamine. Miaso tabled {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a straight and six low but Kessler had the high hand with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a flush. Benyamine was unable to beat either hand and got chopped up.
