Vitch Looking for the Trifecta and Title Defense with 15 Remaining in Event #64: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship

Chris Vitch
Chris Vitch

It's a feat only accomplished by three people in the post-Moneymaker era; three bracelets in three years. First was Allen Cunningham, then was Matt Matros and finally Loren Klein, achieving the feat just this year. Chris Vitch has put himself in prime position to become the fourth player to do it. With only 14 people standing in his way, and after bringing the chip lead into Day 3 of Event #64: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, Vitch has a very strong chance to lock up his third WSOP bracelet and the $364,387 first place prize.

But it won't be easy. Among those still left in contention are bracelet winners Bryce Yockey, Scott Bohlman, Ken Aldridge, Jesse Martin, Tom Koral, and Jack Duong. And there's also a cast of characters who are hungry for their first bracelets, such as Andrew Kelsall, Dan Matsuzuki, Mike Watson, Jerry Wong, Andrew Rennhack, Daham Wang, Joseph Michael, and Roland Israelashvili. With such a tough field remaining nothing is certain for Vitch.
