Wilkerson Gets Quartered by O'Dea

Dylan Wilkerson was involved in a pot with Eoghan O'Dea. Wilkerson had a bet of what looked like 8,500 in front of him before O'dea made it 40,000 to go. Wilkerson mulled it over for a while before he shoved all in and O'Dea snap-called.

Calderaro Makes a Low on the River for a Chop

There was 9,000 in the middle between Brandon Shack-Harris, James Calderaro and one player in the cutoff on a flop of 
and all three players checked around.
The turn was the and Calderaro led with a bet of 9,000 before Shack-Harris put out a big chunk of chips, making it 28,500 and leaving himself with 2,000 behind. The player in the cutoff tanked for a long while before eventually flashing his cards to Dan Shak then folded.
This prompted a series of whoahs from the table as Calderaro was sitting next to Shak. Calderaro claimed that he didn't see the cards.
"But I think you had three aces now," Calderaro said.
"I just wanted to show that I wasn't tanking for nothing," the cutoff player said.
Calderaro mulled over his decision for a bit then eventually called.
The river was the and Calderaro bet 2,000 to put Shack-Harris all in. Shack-Harris quickly called and showed his 
for the nut straight. Calderaro had 
for the low and the two would chop the pot.
"I had the nuts," the player in the cutoff said. "I would've got quartered."
"I thought you had three aces," Calderaro said, explaining that his hand would've severely impacted Calderaro's outs. "I would've folded," Calderaro continued, explaining he would've folded if the cutoff player called.
Either way, Calderaro and Shack-Harris chopped the pot.

Bohlman Eliminated Hui Before the Final Break

Laplante Makes a Big Call Against Nguyen in a Monster Pot

Ryan Laplante shared the details of a monster pot where he took most of Shawn Nguyen's chips, who had an above average stack going into the hand.
According to Laplante, Nguyen made a pot sized raise of 3,500 from early position. Laplante was in the small blind and he called. The big blind called as well.
The flop was 
and action checked to Nguyen who continuation bet for 6,000. Laplante called while the big blind folded.
The turn was the and Laplante checked again. Nguyen made a bet of 16,000 and Laplante decided to call.
On the 
river Laplante checked a third time. Nguyen bet 53,500 and Laplante called. Laplante showed down his 
for aces and sixes and it was good to earn him the monster pot.
Laplante said that Nguyen got in his stack a few hands later and was eliminated. Laplante is now the largest stack in the tournament with over 180,000 chips.
