There will be 203 players returning to their seats on Day 2 of Event #58: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed with the action scheduled to resume at 2:00 p.m. local time. They will be joined by any of the late entries that choose to register before the cards get in the air. Thomas Cannuli will have a significant lead on them all after throwing 286,000 chips in the bag after an impressive opening day.
It won't be smooth sailing for the former November Niner as the field is loaded with pro poker players at each and every table. Some of the familiar big stacks heading into Day 2 include Ivan Luca (159,400), Jean-Robert Bellande (154,200), Robert Mizrachi (140,700), Julian Stuer (134,500), and Jan-Eric Schwippert (129,200).
The list doesn't end there as former World Series of Poker Main Event winners Greg Merson (96,200) and Ryan Riess (69,900) are also in the mix. Some other notable names to keep an eye on throughout the day include Liv Boeree (114,800), Andrew Lichtenberger (1084,00), Sergio Aido (100,800), Chris Johnson (88,600), and Jake Schindler (82,600).
The cards will be in the air at 2:00 p.m. local time inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino with the action resuming with Level 11. The blinds will be 600/1,200 with a 200 ante to start, and those players choosing to still enter will begin with 25,000 chips. The schedule dictates that another ten 60-minute levels will be played today with a 15-minute break after every two levels. There will also be a 60-minute dinner break after the sixth level.

With around 20,000 chips already in the middle and the flop reading , Davide Suriano checked from the cutoff. Jan Eric Schwippert was his opponent on the button and Schwippert bet 9,000. Suriano check-raised all in for 57,500 and Schwippert made a quick call.

Schwippert flopped a set of nines but Suriano had an overpair and the nut flush draw. The turn was the which changed nothing but the on the river changed everything. Suriano hit his flush to score a big double-up through Schwippert in the early stages of the first level.

Felix Schulze opened 2,700 from the cutoff and Szecsi defended his big blind.
The flop was a draw-heavy and when Szecsi checked, Schulze continued for 2,500. The turn came the and with a third heart on board, Szecsi checked and Schulze barreled for 8,200. It was enough to fold out Szecsi, and Schultze is now slightly ahead of where he started half an hour ago.

Vlad Darie opened the button to 2,700 and Scott Seiver three-bet all in for 24,900. Ivan Luca was sat in the small blind and had already amassed more chips to add to his large pile. After a brief think, he made the call. Everyone else got out the way and they turned their cards over.
