Here's where things get interesting. Martini wanted to either make it 55,000 or 50,000, but the floor ruled he could only call the 5,000 and not perform any other action.
This caused commotion at the table as Eveslage and Martini were convinced other action was still allowed, while Concepcion and Denny Axel were sure the only play possible was to call the single chip.
"I bet you a hundred bucks this is right," Concepcion said to Eveslage, who quickly took the bet.
"I really don't think this is right," Eveslage said and Martini concurred. Eveslage asked for a ruling from a different floor member.
"There's not a floor in the world who's gonna agree with you," Axel pipped.
The second brush ruled as well Martini could only call the T-5,000 chip and he and Concepcion did. They then checked it down on the turn and river.

For Denny Axel, his 11th cash at the World Series of Poker has become one of $21,977 after finishing in 8th place. The former owner of CardPlayer magazine was all in for his last few bets and both Kate Hoang and William Kopp went after him.

Hoang recovered the chips against Julien Martini. The flop was checked and Hoang bet the turn and the river. Martini called both bets and mucked when he was shown the for a straight.
Rafael Concepcion limped in first to act and Mack Lee raised from one seat over. Kate Hoang called on the button, as did William Kopp, and Julien Martini came along for the ride on the big blind. Concepcion also called and five players headed to the flop. Action checked to Lee and he bet, all four opponents called!
After the turn, again all players checked to Lee, who bet and picked up four callers once more. The river was checked through and Hoang was first to show. Kopp announced a king out of turn but didn't table his cards yet. Hoang then showed for a busted nut low draw and Kopp flashed his cards, but mucked as soon as Martini showed for trips sixes.
That ended up scooping the entire pot to vault the Frenchman into the lead.
It's been a terrible hour for Rafael Concepcion, who's been on a non-stop downward trajectory after holding a big chip lead earlier. Just now, he lost another brutal pot that sent him down to just 240,000 in chips.
It was Kate Hoang who raised from the cutoff and Julien Martini and Rafael Concepcion called from the blinds. On the flop, Martini bet, Concepcion raised, Hoang folded and Martini called.
Martini check-called the as well before both players checked the on the river. Martini then showed for kings full.
