Event #34: $1,000 DOUBLE STACK No-Limit Hold'em
Dia 1b Começado
Welcome back to the Event #34: $1,000 Double Stack No-Limit Hold’Em. Yesterday 2,387 hopefuls were whittled down to 533 during 10 hours of play. Brian Yoon was the Day 1a chip leader, bagging a hefty 233,600. Only at the end of play today will it be determined whether Yoon will remain the overall chip leader as they head into Day 2, or if today will produce a new one.
The expectation is that many of those who didn't survive Day 1a will return today and make use of the unlimited reentries on offer throughout the late registration period. Players can register until the start of Level 9 (approximately 9:15 p.m. local time). There is a 75-minute dinner break scheduled after Level 6, at around 5:40 p.m. with 20-minute breaks taking place after every two levels.
Once we have reached the end of Level 10 this evening, play will be halted once more, with the combined survivors from Day 1a and Day 1b, going through to Day 2, which will commence at noon, Monday, June 18.

Adrian Moreno, Nipun Java, Matt Affleck and Ludovic Geilich have all been spotted in their seats.
Java will be looking to win his third bracelet, whilst Moreno will be looking to secure his second and with over $1.2 million in cashes, could this be the first one for Affleck? And will Geilich improve on his best result at the WSOP, a 7th place finish in the $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller (8-Handed), two years ago?
