David "ODB" Baker Eliminated in 36th Place

David "ODB" Baker
David "ODB" Baker

2-7 Triple Draw

David "ODB" Baker raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and Justin Bonomo made it three bets to go from the button. Once the action returned to Baker, he called all in for his last 41,000 total.

Both players drew one on each of their three draws, and it would be Bonomo making a {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} as Baker was drawing to his {6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

On the end, Baker could only squeeze out the {J-}, and he was eliminated from the Poker Players Championship.

No-Limit Hold'em

Dan Smith raised to 20,000 from the hijack, Jesse Martin called from the cutoff and Isaac Haxton three-bet shoved from the small blind for 170,000.

Smith mulled it over for a bit before he called. Martin tanked for about two-and-a-half minutes before Smith called the clock. As time was being counted down, Martin jammed with a slightly covering stack and Smith called all in instantly for 888,000.

Smith tabled {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}, Martin was well behind with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Haxton held {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

The board came down {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}, safe for Smith to double into the chip lead and eliminate Haxton.
