Scott Waltenburg, who hails from Northbrook, Illinois, opened the action with a raise and Mike "The Mouth" Matusow called from middle position. The rest of the players folded and it was heads-up action to the flop.

Dutch pot-limit omaha specialist Jorryt van Hoof just skyrocketed up the chip counts after taking down a big pot.

Our Dutch colleague told us how Van Hoof raised before the flop holding two jacks; four players called. The flop brought and Van Hoof check-called 2,500. The Dutchman check-called again on a turn when his opponent bet 4,500.

The river brought out a and again, Van Hoof checked. This time, his opponent bet 6,500 and Van Hoof put out a huge check-raise to 55,000.

Van Hoof's opponent called with and the Dutchman showed his flopped set to take down this big pot.

Mclellan Involved In Another Big Pot

Duncan Mclellan likes to push every edge and when it works he takes some stopping. He is unlikely to back down from most confrontations and is often seen putting his opponents to the test playing big pots.

On a flop of Mclellann moved all in and Phongthep Thiptinnakon, who had a similar stack size, quickly made the call.

Mclellan turned over the flush draw and Thiptinnakon had top pair . If Mclellan wanted clubs then he only wanted one. The turn wasn't one but the river was one of the cards he was looking for.
