Parker vs. Baker

Nível 13

Pot-Limit Omaha

Brock Parker opened for 12,500 under the gun and David "ODB" Baker defended from the big blind. The {j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop saw Baker check-call a bet of 17,500, and both players checked the {Q-Clubs} turn. When the {6-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Baker led out for 30,000 and Parker made a reluctant call.

Baker tabled {q-}{q-}{x-}{x-} for a set of queens, and an excited Parker, who realized his hand was good, rolled over the {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a bigger set.

"I Was Afraid of That"

Mike Leah tries the squeeze

No-Limit Hold'em

Calvin Anderson raised to 12,000 from under the gun, Abe Mosseri called in the cutoff, and Mike Leah moved all in for 125,000 on the button. Anderson quickly folded, and Mosseri snap-called, showing {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

"I was afraid of that," Leah sighed, waiting a few seconds to show {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

"If anybody can do it," said Matt Glantz, "It's Mike Leah."

The flop fell {7-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs}, giving Leah a gut-shot straight draw, and Glantz chuckled. The turn was the {4-Clubs}, giving him a pair and more outs to survive.

"Wow," Glantz said.

The {7-Spades} on the river was a brick, however, and Leah was eliminated shy of the money. Mosseri, on the other hand, is up to 1.1 million.

"This is disgusting," Glantz joked. "The great Abe over one million chips."

We're sure the friendly ribbing will continue at Table 360, as Chris Klodnicki replaced Leah at the table.

Tate Gone After Big Set Up

Nível 13

No-Limit Hold'em

Brian Tate was just knocked out by David Oppenheim in a big set up. Brandon Shack-Harris told us that David had raised and was called by Tate. On the {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{Q-Spades} flop, Tate check-called a bet and on the turn, when the {6-Diamonds} hit he did so as well. The bet was 34,000 and on the river the {6-Spades} hit.

Tate checked again and Oppenheim bet 74,000. Tate moved all in for 183,000 and Oppenheim snap-called, showing {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}. Tate showed {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} and his smaller full house was no good.

Hennigan Over Kassela

Nível 13

Stud

Kassela: {x-}{x-} / {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} / {x-}
Hennigan: {x-}{x-} / {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {x-}

Picking up with the action on fourth street, Frank Kassela led out with a bet and John Hennigan called. Kassela led again on fifth and Hennigan stuck around. Hennigan paired up his fours on sixth and took this opportunity to lead into the pot. Kassela called and Hennigan led out one last time on seventh. Kassela flung out a call.

Hennigan rolled over {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} for two pair of sevens and fives. They were good enough to take down the pot and Hennigan's stack now sits at 500,000. Kassela, on the other hand, has dropped to 380,000.

The Moon Sets on Luneau

Nível 13
Alex Luneau
Alex Luneau

No-Limit Hold'em

Action folded to Alexandre "alexonmoon" Luneau in the cutoff and he moved all in for his last 55,500. The button and small blind both folded, but David Steicke woke up with a big hand and called from the big.

Luneau: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Steicke: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

It was a bad spot for Luneau, and the {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop didn't give him much to get excited about. The {Q-Diamonds} turn left him drawing dead by giving Steicke a full house, and after the {J-Spades} was put out on the river for good measure, Luneau took his leave from the tournament.

Robert Mizrachi: {x-}{x-} / {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} / {x-}
John Hennigan: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} / {x-}

Hennigan completed, Mizrachi raised, and Johnny "World" made the call. Mizrachi led out on fourth street, Hennigan made it two bets, and the 2014 WSOP bracelet winner made the call.

Mizrachi led on fifth, Hennigan called, and the duo checked on sixth. Hennigan called one last bet on seventh, then mucked when Mizrachi revealed {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for Motown; jacks and fives.
