Hands #95-97: A Nice Hand for Arieh

Nível 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #95: Ardit Kurshumi opened for 80,000 under the gun and Josh Bergman and Josh Arieh called from the small and big blinds respectively. Two checks on the {k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop put action on Kurshumi and he bet 80,000. Both his opponents folded.

Hand #96: Brian Yoon raised to 80,000 from the cutoff, Arieh called from the small blind, and the flop fell {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Arieh checked and then folded when Yoon bet 100,000.

Hand #97: Arieh called from the button and Yoon checked his option from the big blind to see a flop of {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, which they both checked. Arieh then called a bet of 60,000 on the {K-Diamonds} turn before Yoon bet 120,000 on the {4-Hearts} river. Arieh responded with a raise to 365,000, and Yoon tanked for a bit before making the call. Arieh tabled the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a flopped set and Yoon mucked.

Hands #91-94: Slow Going

Nível 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #91: Josh Arieh opened for 85,000 from the cutoff and Brian Yoon called from the small blind. Both players checked the {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop and then Arieh folded to a bet of 105,000 on the {8-Hearts} turn.

Hand #91: A raise and take it (from who we're not quite sure as it happened so fast) won this pot.

Hand #92: Josh Bergman raised to 80,000 from the button and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #93: Ardit Kurshumi moved all in from the small blind for 845,000 and Yoon folded from the big.

Hand #94: Bergman received a walk.

Yoon vs. Arieh

Nível 27 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #89: Josh Arieh limped the button, Ardit Kurshumi called from the small blind, and Brian Yoon checked his option from the big to bring about a flop of {5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Two checks saw Arieh bet 40,000, Kurshumi folded, and Yoon check-raised to 120,000.

Arieh canned and then called a bet of 210,000 from Yoon on the {A-Diamonds} turn. When the {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Yoon bet 400,000 and Arieh hit the tank for a bit before releasing his hand.

Hands #80-88: Last Hands Before the Dinner Break

Nível 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #80: Josh Bergman opened for 60,000 under the gun and Ardit Kurshumi three-bet to 140,000 from the small blind. Brian Yoon then four-bet to 280,000 from the big and both Bergman and Kurshumi folded.

Hand #81: Josh Arieh limped the button, Kurshumi came along from the small blind, and Yoon checked his option from the big. Two checks on the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop saw Arieh bet 30,000, and it did the trick, as the other two players folded.

Hand #82: Yoon raised to 75,000 from the small blind and Bergman folded the big.

Hand #83: Kurshumi opened for 60,000 under the gun and then called when Yoon raised to 140,000 on the button. Both players then checked the {6-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop, the {2-Hearts} appeared on the turn, and Yoon called a bet of 120,000 from Kurshumi. When the {9-Clubs} completed the board on the river, both players checked and Kurshumi tabled the {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. It was no good, though, as Yoon held the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

Hand #84: Yoon raised to 60,000 under the gun, Kurshumi called from the big blind, and then Kurshumi check-called a bet of 70,000 on the {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. Both players then checked the {8-Spades} turn as well as the {A-Diamonds} river. Kurshumi tabled the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a pair of fives, but it was no good, as Yoon held a pair of eights with the {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Hand #85: Yoon received a walk.

Hand #86: Arieh raised to 60,000 under the gun and then called when Yoon three-bet to 160,000 from the small blind. Both players checked the {8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop, and then Yoon check-called a bet of 125,000 on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Yoon checked for a third time on the {6-Spades} river but still called when Arieh bet 325,000. Arieh tabled the {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for trips and Yoon mucked.

Hand #87: Bergman limped the small blind, Arieh checked his option, and the flop fell {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Bergman checked and then folded when Arieh bet 30,000.

Hand #88: Yoon raised to 60,000 under the gun and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hands #78-79: Kurshumi Swims on the River

Nível 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #78: Brian Yoon opened for 60,000 from the button and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #79: Josh Bergman raised to 60,000 from the button and Josh Arieh called from the small blind. Ardit Kurshumi then three-bet to 165,000 from the big, Bergman folded, and Arieh moved all in. Kurshumi called off for 760,000 and the cards were turned up.

Kurshumi: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Arieh: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Kurshumi had some kicker issues, but they didn't get resolved on the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop, though he did pick up a gutshot straight draw. He needed to hit it too as Arieh had paired his eight. The {Q-Hearts} turn improved Arieh to trips, which meant Kurshumi would stay alive with a jack and a jack only on the river.

Kurshumi's rail bellowed for a jack, and the dealer listened as the {J-Hearts} spiked on the river to give Kurshumi new life.

Nível 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #72: Ardit Kurshumi moved all in from the small blind and Brian Yoon folded from the big.

Hand #73: Yoon limped the small blind, Josh Bergman checked his option from the big blind, and the two saw a flop of {8-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Yoon bet 30,000, Bergman raised to 60,000, and Yoon folded.

Hand #74: Kurshumi raised to 60,000 from under the gun and then folded when Yoon raised to 140,000 from the button.

Hand #75: Yoon opened for 60,000 under the gun and Kurshumi called from the big blind. When the flop came down {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs}, Kurshumi checked and Yoon bet 70,000. Kurshumi woke up with an all-in check-raise and Yoon folded.

Hand #76: Yoon received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #77: Josh Arieh opened for 65,000 under the gun and Yoon three-bet him to 165,000 from the small blind. Arieh pushed back with a four-bet to 395,000 and then called off when Yoon moved all in.

Arieh: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Yoon: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Arieh was well out in front, and he stayed there as the board ran out {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

Hands #68-71: Some Raise and Takes

Nível 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #68: Ardit Kurshumi raised to 65,000 from the small blind and Brian Yoon folded from the big.

Hand #69: Josh Arieh raised to 65,000 under the gun and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #70: Yoon opened for 60,000 from the button and Arieh defended from the big blind. Both players then checked the {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, and the {3-Clubs} appeared on the turn. Arieh check-called a bet of 70,000 and then both players returned to checking on the {2-Diamonds} river. Arieh tabled the {5-Clubs}{4-Spades} for jacks and fours, and it was good.

Hand #71: Yoon raised to 60,000 under the gun and took down the blinds and antes.

"Ace on the Turn, as Predicted"

Nível 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #67: Brian Yoon opened for 60,000 under the gun and Josh Arieh called from the small blind. Ardit Kurshumi then three-bet all in from the big blind for 290,000, Yoon moved all in over the top, and Arieh got out of the way.

Kurshumi: {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Yoon: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

"I need an ace, boys," Kurshumi called to his rail. "Ace on the turn."

Indeed, Kurshumi needed some help, but he found none on the {5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. The dealer then burned and turned the {A-Diamonds}. Kurshumi's premonition came true. The {2-Diamonds} river didn't change a thing, and Kurshumi doubled through the chip leader.

"I'm winning this bracelet, I already told you," Kurshumi yelled to his rail. "Ace on the turn, as predicted."
