Jean Maurice - 14th Place
Jean Maurice - 14th Place

Bryn Kenney completed with the {7-Clubs}, and action folded to Jean Maurice, who made it two bets with {10-Spades}. Kenney called, then check-raised to put Maurice all in on fourth street.

Maurice: {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}/{10-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Kenney: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}/{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Kenney didn't have much, but he improved to aces on the river when he caught {3-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. Maurice, meanwhile, found no help as his board ran out {9-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

Carolyn Gardner - 15th Place

On fourth street, Carolyn Gardner bet with {10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Bryn Kenney called with {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Kenny took the lead with a bet after catching {8-Hearts} while Gardner got a {2-Hearts}. Kenny ended up putting his opponent all in on the end, and she called it off.

Kenney: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}/{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Gardner: {x-}{x-}{x-}/{9-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Gardner couldn't beat the kings up.

Mitchell Putterman - 16th place
Mitchell Putterman - 16th place

After bringing-in and folding twice since being crippled, Mitchell Putterman called all-in for his last 1,000 following an Eric Buchman completion. Both player's board ran out as follows:

Buchman: {6-Clubs}{2-Spades} / {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{Q-Spades} / {A-Clubs}
Putterman: {J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} / {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts} / {K-Spades}

With Putterman unable to best Buchman's trips, he headed to the rail in 16th place as Buchman pushed his stack to 315,000.

DJ Buckley Eliminated in 17th Place ($3,586)

Nível 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
DJ Buckley - 17th place
DJ Buckley - 17th place

Following a limp by William Thompson, DJ Buckley completed and Aleksandr Denisov raised. Thompson folded, but Buckley called, and then proceeded to call bets on fourth and fifth street before both players checked sixth.

Buckley: {X-}{X-} / {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {X-}
Denisov: {X-}{X-} / {10-Spades}{K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} / {X-}

Denisov bet out of turn, but Buckley opted to check, and then check-raised to 16,000. Denisov looked at what Buckley had remaining - 6,000 - and then raised to 22,000 to put Buckley all-in.

Buckley obliged by calling all-in and tabled his {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}, but it would be Denisov's {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a better full house that would see him scoop the pot and send Buckley to the rail in 17th place.

Bryan Campanello Eliminated in 18th Place ($3,586)

Nível 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Bryan Campanello - 18th Place
Bryan Campanello - 18th Place

A player completed with a {j-} and Bryan Campanello made it two bets with {j-Hearts}. Behind him, Jean Maurice reraised with {a-Spades} and Campanello made the call after the initial raiser folded. Campanello got most of the rest in by check-raising when he caught the {9-Hearts} and the last 500 went in blind on fifth street.

Campanello: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}/{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Maurice: {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}/{a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Campanello had caught Maurice's aces by making two pair. He killed one of Maurice's outs by catching the {a-Hearts}, which also gave him a flush draw, but Maurice added a straight draw with the {6-Hearts}. He filled it with the {4-Diamonds} and Campanello didn't improve.

Campanello will have to wait on a second bracelet. He won one last by taking down a Razz event, defeating David Bach heads up.

Phil Laak Eliminated in 19th Place ($3,586)

Nível 16 : 3,000/6,000, 700 ante
Phil Laak - 19th place
Phil Laak - 19th place

Catching the action on fifth street we found Phil Laak betting out 6,000 with Eric Buchman calling. Laak then bet sixth and Buchman called before Laak led out for 6,000 on seventh leaving himself just 1,200 behind.

Laak: {X-}{X-} / {J-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} / {X-}
Buchman: {X-}{X-} / {4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{J-Spades} / {X-}

Buchman announced raise and Laak went into the tank deliberating whether or not to call all-in.

Eventually Laak tossed in the last of his chips tabling his {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} / {2-Clubs}, but it would be Buchman's {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} that would scoop the pot and send Laak to the rail.

Robert Turner Eliminated in 20th Place ($3,586)

Nível 16 : 3,000/6,000, 700 ante
Robert "Chip Burner" Turner - 20th Place
Robert "Chip Burner" Turner - 20th Place

Robert Turner completed with his short stack, and Alex Kravchenko raised with {k-Clubs}, knocking everyone else out. Turner put all of his chips in.

Turner: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}/{q-Clubs}
Kravchenko: {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}/{k-Clubs}

Both caught good on fourth with Turner getting the {q-Spades} to pair up and make a three-flush, while Kravchenko got the {9-Clubs} for two pair. Unfortunately for "Chip Burner", that was all the help he would get as the rest of his cards were {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, not enough to catch Kravchenko's kings up.

Steven Diano - 22nd Place

Steven Diano completed with the {8-Hearts}, and Daniel Negreanu raised with {j-Diamonds}. Action folded back to Diano, who went all in for less than another raise.

Diano: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}/{8-Hearts}
Negreanu: {j-Clubs}{7-}/{j-Diamonds}

Negreanu caught a third jack and then filled up, and Diano found no help on his {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{x-} run out.
