Pius Heinz had the button. Under the gun, Matt Giannetti raised to 2.2 million, and Ben Lamb three-bet to 6 million. Once again, the aggression worked, and Lamb's reraise earned him the pot.
The man they call Benba, the 2011 WSOP Player of the Year, has turned up the aggression here as the table has been reduced to four.
Martin Staszko had the button, but the table folded to the blinds. Matt Giannetti completed for the minimum 500,000, but Pius Heinz raised to 3.2 million in the big. A fold from Giannetti sent the latter the pot.
Staszko limped in from under the gun and Ben Lamb checked in the big blind to see the flop. After Lamb checked, Staszko bet 1.2 million. Lamb check-raised to 2.6 million. Staszko came back over the top with a reraise to 5.2 million. Lamb reraised to eight million and Staszko mucked.
