Hand #109: Matt Giannetti

Nível 39 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante

Martin Staszko had the button, and he limped in first to enter the pot. Matt Giannetti completed from the small blind, Pius Heinz checked from the big, and we were three-handed to the flop.

It brought {10-Spades} {Q-Spades} {9-Clubs}, and it checked around to the {3-Spades} turn. Giannetti took his cue to lead out with 2.25, and Heinz quickly called, Staszko quickly folded, and the {Q-Clubs} completed the board. Slowing down now, Giannetti checked, and Heinz made a smallish bet of 2.4 million. Call.

Heinz showed {K-Spades} {7-Clubs} for the miss, and Giannetti's {A-Spades} {3-Hearts} was plenty good enough to send him the pot.

Ben Lamb had the button.

While 2011 World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Allen Bari was in the middle of getting thrown out of the Penn & Teller Theatre for foul language, Pius Heinz raised to 2.1 million. Matt Giannetti called from the big blind and the flop came down {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the turn brought the {9-Diamonds}. Giannetti bet 2.8 million and Heinz folded.
