Anton Makievskyi opened to 550,000 from early position, Ben "Benba" Lamb called in the cutoff, and the flop fell {6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Makievskyi checked, Lamb fired 1.4 million, and Makievskyi called.

The turn was the {6-Spades}, and Makievskyi went into the tank before leading for 2.2 million. Lamb insta-called.

The {k-Clubs} completed the board, and Makievskyi opted to check. Benba stared at the board, then knuckled behind. Makievskyi tabled {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for ace-high, and Benba rolled over {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights.

Benba shipped the pot, and is now nearing 20 million chips.
