Makiievskyi Over Ten Million

From middle position, Samuel Holden raised to 320,000. Ahtoh Makiievskyi made the call on the button and everyone else released their hands.

The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Holden fired a continuation bet of 380,000. After a minute, Makiievskyi put in a raise to 900,000. Holden gave it up and Makiievskyi moved to over ten million in chips. Holden dropped back to about three million.

On the Lamb

Nível 31 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Ben Lamb
Ben Lamb

Ben Lamb is going to work on the outer table, having won the last three hands in a row there.

In the first, Lamb raised from the cutoff to 350,000, and Eoghan O'Dea called from the big blind. The flop came {Q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}, and a c-bet from Lamb following O'Dea's check was enough to take down the pot.

Lamb open-raised to 350,000 on each of the next two hands as well (from the hijack, then one seat over), and earned himself the blinds and antes both times. The 2011 WSOP Player of the Year points leader is at 10.4 million now.

J.P. Kelly Eliminated in 26th Place ($302,005)

Nível 31 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
J.P. Kelly - 26th Place
J.P. Kelly - 26th Place

A short-stacked J.P. Kelly open-shoved all in for 1.15 million from early position, and Ryan Lenaghan called from middle position. Andrey Pateychuk then reraised to 2.75 million, forcing out both the blinds and Lenaghan.

Kelly: {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Pateychuk: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

Bad timing for Kelly, who watched as the board came {2-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}, spelling the end of his Main Event run in 26th place. Pateychuk moves up to 13.8 million after that hand, while Lenaghan remains at about 15.9 million.

Schwalich Snaps With Aces

Aleksandr Mozhnyakov opened to 340,000, Scott Schwalich three-bet to 800,000 on his immediate left, and the action folded back to Mozhnyakov who moved all in for effectively 4.385 million. Schwalich called as fast as possible, and the hands were opened.

Mozhnyakov: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Schwalich: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Schwalich was well ahead, and remained ahead as the board ran {q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. He doubled to 9 million chips, while Mozhnyakov slipped to 8.5 million.

Big Pot for Moore with Two Pair

Lars Bonding opened from middle to 360,000 and Christopher Moore called from the cutoff seat. Kenny Shih called from the big blind as well and the flop came down {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Shih was up first and checked. Bonding fired 470,000 and action moved to Moore. He flatted and Shih folded.

The turn card was the {Q-Spades}. Bonding checked and Moore fired 700,000. Bonding made the call and the pot grew to 3.68 million in chips.

The river card was the {5-Diamonds} and Bonding was first. He checked. Moore took some time and then fired an even two million. Bonding began to tank. He tanked for several long minutes before finally making the call. When he did, Moore tabled the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for two pair and Bonding mucked his hand.

Kyle Johnson Eliminated in 27th Place ($302,005)

Pius Heinz opened to 380,000, Phil Collins called on his direct left, and the action folded to Kyle Johnson who moved all in for 1.57 million more. Heinz quickly mucked, but Collins went into the tank. He asked the dealer to spread the pot, the dealer obliged, and Collins announced, "Call."

Showdown
Johnson: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Collins: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

While the production crew set everything up for the pending all in, Collins' rail assembled.

"Oh my god!" Brent Hanks said upon seeing Collins' hand. "That hand never loses!"

The dealer was told to deal the flop, so he did: {5-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

"Yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhp," members of Collins' rail shouted.

The turn was one sided, but the {2-Diamonds} did not help Johnson, and he was down to his last card.

"Heart!" Matt Berkey yelled. "Any heart will do!"

The river was indeed a heart - the {j-Hearts} - and Collins was awarded the pot. Johnson was eliminated in 27th place, taking home $302,005.
