Action folded to Steve Brecher on the button and he raised to 275,000. Khoa Nguyen was next to act in the small blind and he three-bet to 760,000. The big blind got out of the way and action was back on Brecher. He leaned back in his chair, took a swig of his water, and then announced that he was all in for 3.78 million more. Nguyen snap-called and Brecher knew he was in trouble.

Whether it was an ill-timed move or bad read, it didn't change the fact that Brecher was in a tough spot. The
