WSOPC #14: $800 FIFTY STACK No-Limit Hold'em
Dia 1 Começado
Yet another busy Super Sunday in the 2020 GGPoker World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Circuit features an official ring event with a seven-figure prize pool as of 1 p.m. EST (6 p.m. UTC). Event #14: $800 FIFTY STACK will award at least $1,000,000 in cash prizes to all those finishing in the top 15% of the field.
All players start with double the usual stack of 50,000 in chips, which equals 250 big blinds for the first level at blinds of 100-200 and a running ante of 25. The late registration will be available until 9.40 p.m. UTC (level 16) and each level until the final table lasts 12 minutes each. During the registration period, all participants can re-enter up to three times to take another shot at the seven-figure prize pool.
Once the final nine players combine, they get to pick their seats by order of chips and then play 25 hands for each blind level until a champion has been crowned. The limits may roll back to ensure an average stack of at least 40 big blinds according to the new feature implemented on GGPoker.
There are more than 300 early sign-ups, who are all eligible for the bubble protection and may earn their buy-in back in tournament dollars if busting in close proximity of the bubble. Notables registered thus far include GGPoker ambassador Felipe Ramos, Pete Chen, Bryan Paris, Jessica Teusl, Mario Mosboeck, Manig Loeser, Dara O'Kearney, the GGPoker GGSquad members Patrick "Egption" Tardif and Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker, as well as Stefan Schillhabel.
According to the tournament lobby, the tournament is expected to run for just shy of eight hours. Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team will aim to provide as many key hands as possible en route to crown another champion in this one-day event.
