At 4 p.m. EEST, Event #2: $100,000 NLH 8-Handed is scheduled to kick off here at the beautiful Merit Crystal Cove Resort & Casino in sunny North Cyprus. Many notable names have been spotted roaming the tournament floor and are expected to join the field at some point.
While Event #1: $50,000 NLH 6-Handed plays down to a winner today on the Triton Poker live stream, Day 1 in this event will get started to crown an eventual winner on Day 2, Monday, April 4.

Players will get 200,000 in chips when they start with the level duration set at 45 minutes each.A 15-minute break is scheduled after Level 3 and 8 while a 30-minute dinner break is slated to take place after Level 6. Ten levels of play are planned for today with unlimited reentries possible until the start of Day 2 on Monday, April 4 at 1 p.m. local time.
The shot clock will be in play as usual at the Triton event and players are allowed 20 seconds to consider their options before using one of their 12 time banks. Once the flop has been dealt, players will get 25 seconds but that increases to 30 seconds on the turn and river.

Seth Davies checked in the small blind and Christoph Vogelsang flicked in a 5,000-chip for the bet in the big blind. Davies glanced over and then made the call.
The river completed the board with the and both players checked. Davies tabled the for two pair, tens and sixes, but Vogelsang held the for the higher two pair of kings and sixes to claim the pot.

Viacheslav Buldygin had been playing a few hands already, especially one where he claimed a chunk of Nick Petrangelo's stack already.
On the next hand, Chris Brewer raised to 2,500 from the hijack and Buldygin three-bet to 8,500 from the button. The blinds folded and Brewer called. The flop came for Brewer to check and then fold when Buldygin continued with a bet of 10,000.
Another hand later, Brewer raised to 2,500 again, now from the middle position. Buldygin called from the hijack while the rest folded. They both checked through the flop to the on the turn. Brewer bet 4,500 for Buldygin to call. The river completed the board with the and Brewer continued with a bet of 12,000 which was enough for Buldygin to give up on this hand.

Viacheslav Buldygin was in the tank from under the gun and opted to check after using a time bank. Artur Martirosian took his time too from the middle position and decided to check in the end too.
Buldygin said that Martirosian had won but the latter waited for the former to reveal his cards. Buldygin tabled the for the missed flush draw to play the pair of kings on the board. Martirosian showed the for trip kings and the pot.
