When the registration had closed, there were only 14 players left in the tournament and one of them was PokerGO's own Cary Katz. He flopped a pair but Ivan Leow flopped the higher one which he improved to trips to sent Katz back to his hotel room. A few minutes later, Tony G doubled through Phil Ivey who then lost the remainder of his stack to He who will be making his second final table appearance here in Cyprus.

While Phua managed to double up twice to stay alive, Richard Yong failed to get rid of Tony G to then lost his last few chips to He too for the bubble stage to start. It would take a few rounds of hand-for-hand play before Tang shoved on Leow which he limp-called. Tang flopped two pair while Leow turned one too for some hope but those were crushed when he bricked the river.

With seven players left, Boris Turitsa shoved on Tang who made the call to increase his chip lead by a big margin as he flopped a full house with pocket jacks. Turitsa had hit trip aces but couldn't pair the board to bust for $45,000.

With 15 minutes and 46 seconds left in Level 12, play will resume at 1 p.m. local time on Thursday, August 26. The PokerGO stream will be live from 2 p.m. local time and the PokerNews live reporting team will be here again to bring you all the action on a similar delay so make sure to return to see who will take it down!

Danny Tang had called but Boris Turitsa shoved for 892,000 for the action to fold back to Tang who asked for a count. The dealer confirmed the amount and Tang looked at the tournament clock before making the call.

Boris Turitsa: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Danny Tang: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The flop came with the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for the whole table to gasp and giggle.

The turn was the {10-Spades} for Turitsa to be left with seven outs to stay alive but the river completed the board with the {7-Hearts} instead for the day to end as he busted in seventh place.

The 6 remaining players have bagged their chips and will return on Thursday, August 27 to play down to a winner on the PokerGO streamed final table from 2 p.m. local time.

The full chip counts and a recap are to follow.

Phua Avoids Losing a Chunk to He

Nível 12 : 0/0, 15,000 ante

In a five-way limped pot, the flop read {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, it was checked around to Paul Phua who bet 85,000 which only Xia Jiang He check-called,

The turn was the {6-Spades} and He check-called the 150,000 continuation-bet of Phua.

The river completed the board with the {6-Clubs} and He took a few seconds before opting to check. Phua took his time too and then reluctantly checked. He tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} for the flush which was enough for Phua to muck.

"Straight..." Phua claimed to have.
