Chidwick Takes from Badziakouski

Nível 16 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

From under the gun, Justin Bonomo raised to 32,000 and Christoph Vogelsang called on the button.

Mikita Badziakouski called in the small blind, as did Stephen Chidwick in the big blind.

The flop landed {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Badziakouski bet out 40,000 only to have Chidwick raise to 125,000. Bonomo and Vogelsang folded, and Badziakouski called.

The turn landed the {6-Diamonds} and Badziakouski check-called a bet of 130,000 before both players checked the {4-Clubs} on the river.

Badziakouski tabled his {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, but it would be Chidwick's {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} that would see him pushed the pot.

Badziakouski's Aces Hold in Massive Hand Against Chidwick

Nível 17 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Mikita Badziakouski first doubled through Justin Bonomo and now he bit into the other big stack as he clashed against Stephen Chidwick in a massive pot, the biggest of the tournament so far.

Badziakouski was on the button and he open-raised, provoking a three-bet to 160,000 from Chidwick who was in small blind. Badziakouski, however, fired back, four-betting to 425,000. Chidwick called within his allotted 30 seconds, sparing all timebanks he had left.

The action halted on the {10-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop where Badziakouski checked back but the intensity exploded on the {4-Spades} turn.

Chidwick checked to Badziakouski again and he cut out a small 250,000-bet. Chidwick announced a raise to 1.5 million and Badziakouski counted his stack, looking whether Chidwick's raise effectively covers him or not. Then he made the call for all his chips, knowing he wouldn't have to technically move all-in. Chidwick nodded, understanding the situation as he allowed the showdown without verifying the exact amounts.

Stephen Chidwick: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Mikita Badziakouski: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}

It became evident that the river card would be the most important card so far dealt in the Super High Roller 2018. The {5-Spades} stood with Badziakouski whose aces held against Chidwick's combo draw.

Badziakouski took over the pole position, catapulting his stack to 3.5 million. Chidwick, however, is still one of the bigger stacks in the room despite this deep wound.
