Polk Flushed Out by Negreanu

Nível 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Doug Polk
Doug Polk

From the button, Daniel Negreanu opened to 15,000 and Doug Polk moved all in from the small blind for 37,500 as Negreanu called.

Negreanu: {K-Spades}{8-Spades}
Polk: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

With Polk in the lead, the {6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop would see him needing to fade spades to go along with one of the remaining eights in the deck, but when the {Q-Spades} landed on the turn, his tournament would be over.

The meaningless {4-Hearts} completed the board on the river, and Polk hit the rail.

Hart Doubles Through Holz

Nível 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Kevin Hart
Kevin Hart

Fedor Holz opened for 14,000 and Kevin Hart called on the button. The flop came {5-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, and Holz checked. Hart bet all but his last T500 chip, and Holz put him all in for 111,000 total.

Holz: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Hart: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Hart was in a dominating spot, but the {j-Diamonds} hit the turn to pull the German ahead. Hart still had a ton of equity with a combo draw, and the {9-Hearts} gave him a straight. He celebrated his double with fervor.

Hart Eliminates Holz

Nível 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

From the cutoff, Fedor Holz opened to 13,000 and Kevin Hart three-bet the small blind to 33,000.

With the action back on Holz, he four-bet shoved all in for 150,000 and Hart instantly called.

Holz: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Hart: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

"C'mon Kev! C'mon Kevin. Shit!" screams Hart as he tries to pump himself up.

With Hart holding a heavy advantage, the {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop would push him further into the lead as Holz would need a combination of running diamonds or queens to stay alive.

The turn of the {3-Clubs} would end any chance for Holz as the {3-Hearts} paired the board on the river to send Holz tumbling to the rail and Hart up to over 320,000 in chips.

Kevin Hart Eliminated by Brian Rast

Nível 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Kevin Hart
Kevin Hart

From under the gun, Cary Katz opened to 18,000 only to have Brian Rast three-bet the cutoff to 53,000.

With the action on Kevin Hart in the small blind, he quickly moved all in for his last 97,000. Bill Klein in the big blind folded, as did Katz, and Rast quickly called.

Hart: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Rast: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

"Let's go Ray! One time! One time Ray!" bellowed Hart as he stood up from the table to sweat his fate.

The dealer spread a {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop and Hart again added, "Let's go Ray!"

The {9-Spades} found it's way on the turn and Hart immediately stated, "No Ray! One time Ray you can do it. I've seen it on TV before!"

Unfortunately for Hart, the river landed the {Q-Hearts} to end his tournament after a tremendous effort against some of the world's finest poker players.

The End for Tony G.

Nível 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Tony Guoga
Tony Guoga

Byron Kaverman raised to 20,000. Tony Guoga shoved for just about 50,000 on the button, and Kaverman quickly called.

Guoga: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Kaverman: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

"The reverse Ralph Perry!" Jason Mercier said, referring to Guoga's infamous verbal beatdown of Ralph Perry when his own ace-deuce held against Perry's king-jack.

Ace-deuce would prevail again as the board ran out {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}, leaving Guoga shaking his head.

"I can't win," he said as he walked away from the table.

Amateurs Shine on Day 2, Bonomo Bags Lead

Nível 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

The $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl at ARIA continued on Memorial Day and the field was cut from 44 runners to just 19. Justin Bonomo rose to the top of the counts as he finished with a stack of 2,628,000.

Bonomo had a nice start to the day as he eliminated Antonio Esfandiari when both players made kings up, but Bonomo's king-queen bested Esfandiari's king-three. He also eliminated dangerous opponent Nick Petrangelo when a short-stacked Petrangelo jammed a flush draw and Bonomo had flopped a set.

Later in the day, Bonomo flopped trip sevens with eight-seven of hearts. Bonomo check-called the flop against Rainer Kempe, and after both players checked the turn, Bonomo fired a big overbet on the river after all the draws missed and got paid off.

However, while a well-known pro heads the list of remaining players, it was a great day for amateur players at the SHRB. Not one, not two, but all of five amateurs bagged stacks that put them in the top 10.

Dan Shak (1,482,000), Bill Klein (1,466,000), Leon Tsoukernik (1,335,000), Cary Katz (701,000) and David Einhorn (685,000) are all looking good heading into Day 3. King's Casino owner Tsoukernik won the EPT Prague $50K High Roller late last year, and Shak has historically been one of the most successful amateurs in these events with nearly $9 million in cashes.

The most well-known amateur in the event, actor and comedian Kevin Hart, failed to bag. However, he did have himself quite a day as he collected perhaps the most impressive scalp of anyone in the tournament.

Hart busted high roller extraordinaire Fedor Holz, who has been unstoppable in these events the past couple of years. It did take a cooler though, as Hart picked up aces when Holz was dealt queens.

Hart ultimately fell when he ran ace-jack into Brian Rast's kings. Others going bust included Dan Colman, Isaac Haxton, David Peters, Bryn Kenney, Doug Polk, and "Tony G." Guoga.

Day 3 resumes at 1 p.m., and PokerNews will again handle live reporting duties while PokerGo offers a live streaming service.
