Day 3 to Decide Final Table is On Deck
Action is about to begin for Day 3 of SCOOP-92-L: $109 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event], and when the day is done, only nine stacks will be bagged for the final day of action tomorrow. There were 159 players left standing, one less than expected with the day scheduled to end with 160 left. Two players busted on the final hand of the night, making Day 3 just a little bit smaller.
Day 2 action ended in Level 44, and Day 3 will pick up at the same point. They'll play 15 minute blind levels throughout the final day, starting at 80,000/160,000/20,000 and they'll play until the final table is set.
Nearly 39,000 entries swelled the prize pool in this event to almost a third more than the guarantee, with $3,891,300 in the middle to play for. They are already well into the money spots, and players who bust early today will get paid $2,048 on their way out.
The biggest stack going into Day 3 is "dammsugarn" with more than 16 million, with three other stacks of more than 15 million chips. Among the top ten is Kevin "KRab42" Rabichow, who bagged the sixth place stack on Day 2 with just under 15 million. Anton "Bomber&Granater" Wigg is also still in the mix with a big stack, bagging more than 13 million, good for 12th place overall at the end of Day 2.
