Donning the flag of Ukraine, “The_Truht” started the day 11th in chips out of the 18 players who converged to compete on Day 3. They rose toward the top early as the eliminations started coming quickly from the get go.

Start of day chip leader Billy "b8chatz" Chattaway, succumbed in 11th place after having a rough start to the day and was not able to recover fully.

After what had been a breakneck pace, play hit a snag in pace with seven remaining, as it took an hour for the next elimination to take place in order to get down to the official final table of six. “The_Truht” was in third place to start the final table and it was eventually second place finisher “goldenmuzzle” and third place finisher “azn_baller3” who took command early at the final table, feasting on short stacks to build their stacks into dominant ones.

“The_Truht” was able to climb toward the top with four left after they took a large pot from “azn_baller3” to even out the stacks amongst the remaining four players. “mapof” of Brazil, who had been the chip leader earlier in the day with two tables remaining, would be the next elimination in fourth place as “The_Truht” slayed them to strengthen their bid to win. The Ukrainian continued to surge as they soon after eliminated “azn_baller3” of Thailand in third place to create the heads up battle.

“goldenmuzzle” held a slight 55/45 chip advantage to start heads up play but it as very quickly erased after “The_Truht” won the biggest hand of the tournament when the broadway straight came in on the river to create a dominating chip advantage for them. From there it was merely a formality as “goldenmuzzle” could not fight off elimination for long and eventually was eliminated after just a few more hands.
