Several progressive knockout tournaments have already determined their respective winners during the 2020 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) and the most expensive one to date will play down to a champion within the next two days. Event 33-H: $10,300 NLHE PKO High Roller will certainly attract some of the biggest names in poker and promises to deliver non-stop action from start to finish thanks to the ever-growing bounty prizes.
Of the $10,300 buy-in, $5,000 are added to the cash prize pool and the second $5,000 are added to the bounty pool. Each time a player is eliminated, 50% of their current bounty is awarded to the player who eliminated them and the remaining 50% is added to that player's bounty.
Since all participants can re-enter twice during the registration period which lasts for 4 hours and 45 minutes, it is technically possible to knock out the same opponent up to three times and sweeten the memories with an instant payday of at least $2,500.
The event comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000 and kicks off at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), upon registration a starting stack of 250,000 is awarded. The first 18 levels last 20 minutes each whereas all following levels increase to a duration of 30 minutes each. For every hour played, the 60-second time bank will be topped up by an additional 10 seconds. Players who reach the final table will receive 90 additional seconds in their pursuit of a six-figure cash and the elusive SCOOP title.

Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood and Charlie "Epiphany77" Carrel kicked off their table heads-up before being joined by new entries and headed into a three-bet pot for 26,400 each. Carrel bet the 
flop for 15,744 and was called to then check the 
turn, Greenwood checked back. After the 
river, Carrel check-folded to a shove by Greenwood.
Two hands later, Luan "Pseudo Fruto" Felipe entered the table action with a three-bet out of the small blind as Greenwood had raised to 6,000. Felipe reraised to 27,000 and Greenwood called. After the 
flop, Felipe continued for 14,475 and picked up a call to fire a second barrel worth 65,138 on the 
turn. Greenwood stuck around and the Brazilian ripped the 
river for 139,787 to force a fold from Greenwood.

Before the tournament kicked off, Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis" tweeted about this very specific event and how he busted the very first hand. History won't repeat, however, as he folded the first hand and remains in contention.
Many other notables jumped into the action as the field burst from 10 to 23 entries immediately.

Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi had chipped up early but then lost a big pot to Francisco "Tomatee" Benitez when the latter opened the button to 6,440. Shakerchi three-bet to 22,400 out of the big blind and picked up a call.
