The players in Day 1A of the RGPS Main Event are now on their first 15-minute break of the day and will return to action shortly.
Stephen Latimer open-shoved for 7,200 from early position and was called by Samip Shah to his left and Robert Randall in the big blind.
On the flop of 10♦3♣K♥, Randall checked, Shah bet 6,000, and Randall exited the battle.
Latimer: A♠Q♦
Shah: K♦J♣
Latimer would need some help to beat Shah's king, and the Q♥ on the turn gave him some hope, but the river was the blank 2♥ to send him to the rail while Shah collected the pot.

On a heads-up turn of 9♦7♣A♣7♦, Henry Zou checked to Eugene Glen who tossed out a bet of 2,500, which Zou called.
When the river came out the 2♣, Zou checked once more to Glen, who fired for 5,000.
Zou peered across the table at Glen for a few seconds before he slid out a call, but was then shown 9♥9♠ by Glen for a full house. Zou quickly tossed his cards away and the pot was awarded to Glen

On a multi-way flop of 9♥2♣10♥, the action checked to Anthony Fields who bet 10,000.
Rabih Makdessi then check-raised all in for around 35,000 and the other player got out of the way before Fields quickly slid in his stack to cover.
Makdessi confidently tabled over 9♠9♣ for a set of nines, but his confidence quickly turned sour when Fields rolled over 10♣10♦ for a superior set of tens.
"Wowwww! Are you serious!" Makdessi sat stunned as the dealer burned and turned the runout of 8♠J♦ to award the pot to Fields and eliminated Makdessi.

On the turn 7♥, Mogilnicki continued for 6,500 but this time was only called by Bowersock to see the 5♠ fall on the river.
This time Mogilnicki decided to slow down and check, and Bowersock checked back.
"Two pair," Bowersock announced as he showed 5♣2♥, which prompted a muck from Mogilnicki.
