Audrius "Stakelis24" Stakelis Bags Biggest Stack to End Day 1 of WCOOP 14-M
After 7 hours and 45 minutes of play on Day 1, WCOOP 14-M: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max Super Tuesday SE], $1M Gtd is now paused for the day. Audrius "Stakelis24" Stakelis ended the day with the biggest stack out of 1,071 entries in this PokerStars WCOOP 2021 event. The field cracked the guarantee by a hair, putting $1.071 million into the middle to play for.
Stakelis was one of five players to collect more than 3 million chips on Day 1, including two Brazilians. Brazil may well be the story of Day 2, as Brazilian players own 5 of the top 10 stacks going into the final day of play, and are well represented through the rest of the chip counts as well.
Team PokerStars members didn't have a great day for the most part. The only member of the Pros contingent that made it to the money today was Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas. The winner of the inaugural PokerStars Players Championship banked another $2,948 for 82nd place today.
