Rudolph is the Fist Causality

Nível 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante
Christian Rudolph
Christian Rudolph

"CrazyLissy" opened with a raise from middle position and Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph called from the small blind as did Andrey "Anjeyyy" Novak from the big blind.

The {3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop was checked around to the {j-Clubs} turn where Rudolph led out for 4,000 and only Novak called to see the {2-Diamonds} complete the board on the river.

Rudolph checked his option and then called off his 18,988 stack after Novak jammed for 63,289.

Rudolph rolled over {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} for a pair of aces but they were no good as Novak turned the straight with {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} to collect Rudolph's bounty.

Dimitar Danchev
Dimitar Danchev

Dimitar "KuuL" Danchev raised to 2,270 from under the gun, "DingeBrinker" three-bet to 7,000 next to act and "mao2015" four-bet to 17,000 from the button.

Action was back on Danchev who jammed for 91,567 and he was called by "mao2015" after "DingeBrinker" mucked their hand.

"mao2015": {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Dimitar "KuuL" Danchev: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Danchev was behind holding big slick and didn't get any help from the {6-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} runout ending his tournament.

Frank Doesn't Get Big Blind Special

Nível 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante
Christopher Frank
Christopher Frank

Action on the table folded around to Alex "Pwndidi" Theologis who raised to 4,200 from the small blind before calling Christopher "lissi stinkt" Frank's 36,565 three-bet jam from the big blind.

Alex "Pwndidi" Theologis: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Christopher "lissi stinkt" Frank: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Frank was behind holding an over card and didn't mind the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop that gave him the nut flush draw.

Unfortunately for Frank, neither the {k-Clubs} turn nor the {4-Clubs} river were any help to him as Theologis collected his bounty.

Martin “Marksman_M” Thien Wu Casually Streams Huge WCOOP Win to Three Twitch Viewers

Nível 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
WCOOP Marksman_M
WCOOP Marksman_M

Imagine this. You’re winding down your poker session, playing the last game of the night, casually streaming to a handful of Twitch viewers.

Then you win a WCOOP title.

That’s exactly what happened to Martin “Marksman_M” Thien Wu, winner of the WCOOP 05-M: $55, 8-Max PKO.

I caught up with Martin for a chat about his time at the tables that fateful evening.

One of the stories that really stood out was how he started playing poker in the first place (more on that later). The fact that he streamed the win live on Twitch makes Martin’s journey even better. Only a few lucky witnesses were there to see it live as Martin claimed his place in history, not only as a WCOOP champion, but as a streamer too.

Tens Hold for Beresford to Collect Bounty

Nível 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Conor Beresford
Conor Beresford

Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford raised to 3,250 from under the gun and "CrazyLissy" defended their big blind to see a {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop.

"CrazyLissy" check-raised to 9,920 after Beresford continued for 2,983 and Beresford three-bet jammed for 125,167. Action was back on "CrazyLissy" who called off their 34,298 stack and both players revealed their hands.

"CrazyLissy": {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

"CrazyLissy" flopped top-pair but was still trailing Beresford's pocket tens.

The {a-Diamonds} turn didn't change a thing as "CrazyLissy" needed any king or nine to win the hand but the river came the {8-Spades} ending their tournament.

Filatov Catches Lucky River to Double Through Oliveria

Anatoly Filatov
Anatoly Filatov

Anatoly "NL_Profit" Filatov opened for 5,000 from the button and Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian called from the samll blind before Filipe "Zagazaur" Oliveira three-bet to 21,625 from the big blind.

Action was back on Filatov who jammed for 115,225 and was called by Oliveria after Martirosian folded.

Filipe "Zagazaur" Oliveira: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Anatoly "NL_Profit" Filatov: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Filatov was ahead and nothing changed after the {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop.

The {k-Spades} turn however, paired Oliveira's king, leaving Filatov drawing to any ace, seven or three.

Luckily for Filatov, his prayer was answered as the {7-Spades} appeared on the river completing his straight and secured his double up.

WCOOP 2020: Heads up! Ankush Mandavia wins third title in $530 TKO HU Zoom

Nível 10 : 1,500/3,000, 375 ante
Ankush Mandavia
Ankush Mandavia

We’ve grown accustomed to seeing the name “pistons87” late in tournaments on PokerStars, whether in series like the 2020 World Championship of Online Poker or at other times.

That’s the nick of Ankush Mandavia, whom we also got used to seeing at the live tourney tables over the years. Mandavia has a couple of EPT trophies collected in Berlin and Prague, plus another won at the PCA a few years back — just a small part of the more than $5 million he’s earned in recorded live cashes.

We can add another online triumph — and a third WCOOP title (to go along with three SCOOPs) — to Mandavia’s résumé, after he took down Event #12-H, the $530 NLHE Heads-Up Turbo Progressive Total KO Zoom.
